Great video, as the rest of your content! Thank you very much Sir For those having problem with the audio and video timing just: 1. open two tabs with the same video and pause them 2. mute the first one and set the time to ~ 0:13 3. set the time of the second one to 0:00 4. start both videos simultaneously and watch the muted one while listening from the other *micro time adjustments may be required
You could edit comment and mention the alternate solution that is to stream video in vlc media player. Since my comment is not liked much so many people may not read, if you edit your comment, many people find that useful.
I just came here to say thank you so much for sharing and explaining the knowledge that you have, you explain with so much patient and passion that I was able to understand completely. Keep up the good work.
For a few days I am tackling to understand the Java ecosystem, with Tomcat and SpringMVC. This is the first video which helps me understand part of it.
Wow, now that I know that JSP is basicaly just another way of writing servlet everything changes, now all that I have seen for 1year makes sense, thnks
I just wanna say thank you thank you thank you soooooo much sir...... as I searched for a long time for a proper lecture on servlet & jsp.......after taking your lectures now I'm able to write any servlet code code♨
I have paid 1 lakh fees to college but not a single stuff I understood ... faculty come and just read ppts....your 10 minutes' one short & simple video is much better than all the lectures of whole semester....
So, I do not if someone could answer me. I could think about a servlet as a "controller" ? I mean I could manage to use JSPs as my view package and Servlets as my controller? This is very cool, before taking spring framework i want to get deep and deep in JEE but this guy explains really nice. Splendid video
Loved the video but i have one doubt.......all those things inside the will go into service but how we specify that it should be a doGet or a doPost ???....Anyone, please help!!!
SOME TIPS:--- (NOT FOR THE SIR HE IS EXCELLENT I AM NOTHING IN FRONT OF HIM . This may be helpful for someone...)-IF I AM WRONG ANYWHERE PLEASE IMPROVE ME.... 1.JSP TO SERVLET If you are working with tomcat. Then go to \Tomcat 9.0\work\Catalina\localhost Inside localhost you would find all your projects and for that project where you created jsp go to \localhost\your_project\org\apache\jsp there you can see the servlet of your jsp. REMEMBER... this servlet will created when you first time request the jsp page that's why jsp page will take some time on the first time to open because this process of servlet is running behind. INSIDE JSP folder you will have the servlet of that jsp and you can open it and check everything.Again this doesn't matter how it is happening because this is handled by the tomcat server this functionality is provided by the server.... 2- suppose you have created demo.jsp your servlet is going to createc by name demo_jsp.java ONE BONUS TIP: the code we write inside scriptles goes on _jspService() method you can check it inside \Tomcat 9.0\work\Catalina\localhost\your_project\org\apache\jsp\demo_jsp.java 3- AVOID WRITING JAVA INSIDE JSP. It doesn't mean we should not write anything but instead we should use Expression language and JSTL because if someone is working on front end you might have to give your jsp pages for designing or javascript or something else they might not understand java but they can easily learn EL and JSTL and understand it and work with it so it will be benefit . Another reason this is just according to me - Our servlets are in our hand no one can access it without our permission as we give access through web.xml and web.xml can only modify admin of the application while jsp is a file anyone can access it and make changes on it if you created it outside WEB-INF THANK YOU!
Sir while working with servlets I'm submitting a simple form with username and password and I'm getting an error as "The origin server did not find a current representation for the target resource or is not willing to disclose that one exists".. Can u please help me here.. Thanks in advance

so when we use jsp why dont we have to map the jsps in web xml like we do in case of servlets?

ONE BONUS TIP: the code we write inside scriptles goes on _jspService() method
you can check it inside \Tomcat 9.0\work\Catalina\localhost\your_project\org\apache\jsp\demo_jsp.java

Sir,can expression tag be written inside the scriptlet tag in jsp?
Amazing !!
I am using JSP and I want the java code to be only used in post method. How can I achieve that?
so now we can prefer JSP over Servlet. Then in which conditions Servlet will be helpful over JSP?
How can I print variables in Html tags ?? means how can I print any value suppose i=10 in ?? can i do that ?
and what will happened to those html code when the jsp page is converted into the servlet
Can we use expression tag in scriplet tag??????
Sir you say jsp page convert in servelet but I delete servlet in my project this time also my program working.. How??
Nice one
Sir while working with servlets I'm submitting a simple form with username and password and I'm getting an error as "The origin server did not find a current representation for the target resource or is not willing to disclose that one exists".. Can u please help me here.. Thanks in advance
