That's gotta be the thing I admire you the most: patience.

Honestly when I imagined Hell’s army vs Doom guy, I imagined this. Army’s of hell being relentless and doom guy managing to run through it all; battered and bruised, but managing it nonetheless. In the end, both the Doom Marine and Hell’s army remain unscathed (due to respawn).

On your original Nightmare video I asked if you were planning a NM100S movie next. You mentioned the secret levels would be hard and you weren't kidding!! One thing I knew but had forgotten for some reason Cyberdemons respawn!. A fact which makes grabbing the blue key on Go 2 It as demonstrated in the video slightly problematic!
Amazing job on the run! Small detail, thing I forgot to say long ago: most of the time, when doing single segment speedruns, that PrBoom replay progress bar (is it present in other ports? Not sure) can be disabled and IMO rightfully so - you have TH-cam bar to naviage/check progress. But here it's actually very nice, because you can see how long actual segment will take. You could argue it's useful in single segment runs too, but - for me at least - it's kinda stuck there and it could become annoying. I mention that also because aside of your runs (he he), your descriptions are also really well made, so yea. I'm babbling too much, so let's leave it at that. Back to watching! Cheers.

@@tenacious645 Definitely. A lot of it is good music, but I played Plutonia so much, I'm used to the original Doom music in it, so I dislike this mostly for being different. Especially on the Map11: Hunted-I think it's a crime not to have the dead bunny music in that one.

It brings back memories of the experience I had playing that map, so any replacement of it is, in my mind, inferior. You can say that, my taste is preconditioned to dislike anything else but the original, even though the replacement music is not necessarily bad by itself.
Also, if I may ask: It's really awesome that you have the UV Speed record, the NM Speed record, and you're the closest to having the NM-100s record with these episode segments. You have some phenomenal achievements under your belt. I think I recall seeing a comment of yours saying you don't enjoy max categories (I could be thinking of someone else but I'm pretty sure it was you), but having said that, have you ever considered going for the UV-Max record? Or, while I'm asking, UV-fast or UV-respawn? Or are you simply uninterested in these?
It would be nice to have the uv-max records as well, but they are just so long and a little bit boring to me. It takes a lot of effort to prepare such a run (I'm sure several minutes could be saved to just better routing), but the main thing is I just don't have the motivation for something like that. If I had the same passion for doom speedrunning as I did 3-4 years ago I'd probably do them as well, but I can't imagine finding both the time and motivation for something like that now. UV-Fast is just a more difficult UV-Max, though I'm going to guess the record for that isn't very good. As for respawn, it's mostly a joke category in my eyes.
Zero Master is using a source port that fixes a little bug from the original DOS version. That's why you see that message for the medkit when he's low on health
hmm i have a question. I understand dying while stepping on the exit level shrine. But I am pretty sure I saw at least two levels, I am at 54:25 now, where he starts the level without weapon. Why does that happen? is it because the video was originally split into 3? why not continue from where he left off/to keep all weapons?
When you die, your height is reduced. This means that he can now fit under the bars and slide onto the exit teleporter. The game doesn't factor in whether you lived or not as there are a few levels in newer mods where you actually die to progress to the next level anyway. The best vanilla example that I can think of is that you can die after killing the Icon of Sin and you'll still pass the level anyway
Making sure the cyberdemons died at the most crucial moments, like when going for the mancubus room, where a cyberdemon rocket would be impossible to dodge He also reached the end while at 0 health because of rocket boost
Zombie men, shotgun guys, chaingunners, and SS officers can hurt members of their own species with hitscan weapons because they're humans, and barons of hell and hell knights can hurt members of their own species with melee hits, but not with projectiles. Can spider masterminds hurt other members of their own species, seeing as how they use hitscan weapons like humans and humanoids do? Am I correct that cyberdemons can't hurt members of their own species, even though they fire rockets that if you fire at them, although they do no splash damage to cyberdemons, thus cyberdemons can't hurt themselves with their own rockets, do impact damage? Do gibbed enemies respawn? I'm disappointed that it seems like there will never be a single segment nightmare all secrets run of Plutonia Experiment... I prefer the original Plutonia Experiment soundtrack.
Spider Masterminds can kill each other, as can be seen in The Spirit World for instance. It would be nice to see a NM100S movie single segment of this and Evilution, although that has it's own problems! Chief among these Human BBQ and Stronghold are really difficult in NM100S and then there is Habitat which has the high risk of a crash due to the multiple platforms in the tunnels

After hearing the og music so much, its just bland in plutonia. Imo this music pack is much better.
I liked the OG music in this. Was interesting hearing the tracks which weren't used as much in some of these levels
