Melodifestivalvinnaren John Lundviks musikkarriär tog fart när han var en av textförfattarna till låten ”When You Tell the World You’re Mine”, som spelades på kronprinsessans bröllop 2010. Han har sedan dess jobbat med många svenska artister, bland andra Anton Ewald och Sanna Nielsen, och skrivit filmmusiken till ”Snabba cash”. Han har också varit med och skrivit musiken till den amerikanska tv-serien ”Empire”.

Han fick sitt genombrott som artist när han gick direkt till final med bidraget "My Turn" i Melodifestivalen 2018. Året efter återvände han med "Too Late for Love", som vann hela tävlingen och slutade på femte plats i Eurovision Song Contest. För bidraget var han initiativtagare till att sätta ihop den kör som efter det årets tävlingar kom att bilda gruppen The Mamas, vinnare av Melodifestivalen 2020. John Lundvik skrev också "Bigger Than Us", som var Storbritanniens bidrag i Eurovision Song Contest 2019 (sista plats i finalen). 2020 vann han Let's Dance.
Bidraget "Änglavakt" är John Lundvik tredje som artist. Temat beskrivs som vänskap och kärlek i vått och torrt. För första gången i tävlingen sjunger han på svenska. Finalplatsen 2022 betyder att han har fullbordat ett hattrick i Melodifestivalen - tre direkta finalplatser på tre försök.
Lundvik har en bakgrund inom friidrotten som sprinter och har vunnit en lång rad medaljer på paradgrenen 100 meter, bland annat ett SM-brons i stafett. Hans personliga rekord på distansen är 10,84. Till OS i Rio 2016 skrev han och framförde den svenska OS-låten ”All About the Games”. - บันเทิง
