for the last couple of weeks i've been studying for my midterms, so i decided i'd film it! i had 4 midterms, & u can kind of tell which classes were more important.

LegacyBlue GT hi thank you!! i usually hide my phone so i’m not tempted to constantly check it. to stay motivated, just sitting and thinking about my end goals reminds me what i want to do and it’s my biggest motivation :-)

How do you deal with mental stress? I mean you are studying for a long period per day. Don’t you feel exhausted and sleepy? What do you do for stress reliving?
I use the pomedoro method like this 20min study 5min break [in these short brakes do not pick up your phone, go and get some water a snak and walk] do this 3 times. Then after 3 times 20min have a longer break 15min [here you may pick up your phone] then repeat 3*20 min with 5min break.
After you've had 3*15min breaks take an 1h break, work out, strech do something to keep you active so you don't fall asleep. But don't just sit on your lazy ass[btw I've done it hhh so dont worry if you sit that's fine 2 ]

You are lucky to have days to prepare, my university put 1 day between each exam literally monday is chemistry AND physics wednesday its biology and math

i've noticed every med student vlog, they all have ipads. Are they essential to buy? when going into med school.
Ashely ash i’m only in undergrad so i’m not sure about how med students feel about them, but for me they’re so helpful!. i have different folders that pertain to each class and it really helps keep everything organized.
It really surprised me to see that you write in capital letters, at leat in your nothebook. In Spain you can't do that, teachers will simply put you a 0 in your marks, no matter what subject you are in. I used to write in capital letters the A and the R, probably even the B and she came to talk with me and told me that if I ever did it again, I would fail the exam :(
Why you can't write in capital letters.... It's strange
@@manjariprakash30 I don't know, we can just write in capital letters the first letter in a name, at the start of a sentence and in proper nouns. It doesn't matter how your handwriting is, you have to do it correctly-

@@belenduran1662 don't worry.....you are not alone ❤️ basically it's a rule of english that have to be followed so that's why your teacher marks it as 0 ...I am from India and our teacher taught us that we also used to do the same thing 😂

if i can only get one for school, do you recommend the ipad pro with the pencil, or the macbook
Annie Epps i think it depends which style you like most. ive seen a lot of people prefer having the ipad pro since you can have books and write on it at the same time! the macbook would be best if you have a major in which you’ll have a lot of papers rather than one you’d need for visuals to draw out (like bio) :)
For theoretical majors I’d recommend an iPad like premed and humanities . For analytical majors like engineering CS physics and maths a laptop is better choice

So I can study as much as possible but I feel like I don’t hold any of it inside my head. How do you manage to retain the info and do you have any tips
have you tried writing the study material down?
Try teaching it to a imaginary 5 year old and active recall is the way to go
You have to understand what kind of a learner you are. *Then* you can study for it so you retain information. A lot of people are visual so you have to watch, or listen, or do, or write it down. I hope that makes sense
a really great way to study is called active recall! It’s more efficient and also takes less time to drill into your head. Ali Abdaal has a great video on it

hello it’s called FOREST : a time tracking and app blocking app. It’s pretty useful and it’s pretty cheap too. It’s paid on iOS but free on android (but you require to pay the same amount for additional but helpful features.) Hope this helped. Take care and stay safe :)

Why does biology students need to study statistic
Shes also minoring in psychology which has stats a requirement. But im pretty sure almost all science based subjects would need it because you have to interpret data and research
she’s on the pre med track and it’s usually recommended that students take stats for med school and she’s a psychology minor too so there’s that too
I m also a biology student and i dont have maths(statistic/arithmetic) in my syllabus or course whatever.
While My friend is a engineering student so she is studying math physics chemistry nd computer sci.
I have both physics and chem but not maths i m so happy for that cuz i hate maths.😂😂😂
