- This video contains day two and three of the March shed hunt giveaway! We had high hopes for day two and three and really thought we would get into the elk sheds. Plenty of poop, tracks, rubs, and even spotted up some younger bulls still packing and older mature bulls that had already dropped.
The morning of day two started off with a bang when I came across one of the coolest elk sheds I've ever picked up! Cody also had found a nice chalk elk shed at the beginning of the day as well! We definitely worked for those antlers that day!
Day three Cody put the team on his back, as he was the only one to find sheds on that final day! Overall, I was stoked with the trip, even though its always nice to come out with a pack full everyday...but that's shed hunting! Cant thank those guys enough for the awesome trip and cant thank my partnerships enough for everything they did for this trip!

Wes you are correct on how that antler sat on the head. It’s not from a break it’s just a bad genetic that causes the pedicle deformity. That bill will always grow a funny antler each year. Great video, love seeing some bone being picked up in my home state!

To the keeper pile 😂. Found a freak brownie this year to. Not as cool as yours. I think it probably sat off the side like you were saying. They get freaky like that. Even seen one that had two antlers on the same side so he had three. To bad he was dead though and in some shop.

Awesome finds! My 1st ever brown I got was in 2022 and it was weird like your freak one as far as how it was growing on the elks head too!

I helped a friend get a bull last Fall here in Az and the L side antler grew off his forehead! I have found several sheds similar to that the last several years so definitely a genetic abnormality!
Your freak shed is awesome. Most likely off a damaged pedicle that caused that broken club tine to come to come down along his face
Definitely off the front of his head. I sent you a picture of the one I found this year that looked like that. It did the same thing. Bad ass 🤘
