Wow what an introduction, that footage and the soundtrack, just incredible! Pont l abbe looks idyllic and i really get the sense this place holds a lot of special memories for you! A Castle that is now a hotel? Oh yes, book us in! An Irish Pub in France? We even have one here now! Thats progress. Looks a very affluent place even if it is shutting for a Monday Siesta! Brocante, what a lovely name for a lace shop, it sounds very Italian. Best way of keeping the heat out, close those shutters when its extreme heat! This made us feel relaxed just watching Debs. What a lovely little French Town, so peaceful🥰. Totally agree, we all need to slow down, we would the pace of life over there. It is part of the reason we try to get away as much as we can. We feel like we are in perpetual motion at home, always another job to do🙈. Beautiful town, love these historic buildings. So glad to see people preserving these legends, we're never going to build anything like this again. That's a suspicious looking pint. It's nice to see so many store fronts still open. It probably helps they're not open all the time, these are drying up here in the states. The bakery looks delicious. A lovely picturesque place that made a nice video. The streets were empty and quiet and that's how I like them. No rush as you said and plenty of time to enjoy. It's very difficult to find similar in this country and they are never just around the corner.

@@debsmostexcellentadventure5353 Ah yes, I remember the half day closing on Wednesdays, wonderful times and rarely did we need anything until the day after. The ice cream vans did more business then, as some of the sweet shops were closed too.

I've heard that some of those that have, bitterly regret it. I loved my cars from the 70s and 80s that roared around with a smokey exhaust. So much more freedom back then.

When I played the video back I could clearly see that the words etched on the boulders were "to spencer" & "to Shakespeare " but looking down on it at the time it was difficult to make out the letters. We once had trouble with a goose at the Dartmoor Inn at Merrivale where a goose was chasing everyone going in & out the pub It was hilarious. 😊😊

Looked exactly what I always imagined a French countryside town would look like, did not expect to see an Irish pub there mind lol. So quiet but I suppose it was their dinner time and it was real nice that someone left you out a beer in that back alley :o) The castle looked amazing, a real fairy tale castle and what a nice beach they had there too and again, it looked so quiet. The drone i use is a dji mini 2,had for 2 years i call it frankenstien amount superglue it has had.These videos was when i spent a month in france in june,if you like drone shots watch my secret castle video were i put the drone down a chimney😱,in 4 weeks we had 1 day of rain,and the tent leaked like a sieve,i treated the tent a colemans octoman with water protection,we go back to france from sept to october. The year before i spent a month in a tiny tent in october in france debs xx

Wow what an introduction, that footage and the soundtrack, just incredible! Pont l abbe looks idyllic and i really get the sense this place holds a lot of special memories for you! A Castle that is now a hotel? Oh yes, book us in! An Irish Pub in France? We even have one here now! Thats progress. Looks a very affluent place even if it is shutting for a Monday Siesta! Brocante, what a lovely name for a lace shop, it sounds very Italian. Best way of keeping the heat out, close those shutters when its extreme heat! Wow that beach looks nice, i used to play Volleyball back in the day, happy memories! Great music choices Debs and this video has memories that will last a lifetime. A little piece of heaven this place.
To be honest whenever you see me say im in a small village its code for a havent a clue were i am.And i was aiming for another town and ended up there.it was only when i done a google map search showed me what town i was in😨.yes i didnt get paid for this video and the song is one my favs at the end,it goes to the music maker,sometimes you share.got about 4 more to edit,and a haven review.also got a new ebike to review,but waiting for caveman have his cancer cut out,i got fingers crossed be in 2 weeks.i had a sore bottom after spending 4 weeks cycling😀

This made us feel relaxed just watching Debs. What a lovely little French Town, so peaceful🥰. Totally agree, we all need to slow down, we would the pace of life over there. It is part of the reason we try to get away as much as we can. We feel like we are in perpetual motion at home, always another job to do🙈. Beautiful town, love these historic buildings. So glad to see people preserving these legends, we're never going to build anything like this again. That's a suspicious looking pint. It's nice to see so many store fronts still open. It probably helps they're not open all the time, these are drying up here in the states. The bakery looks delicious. A lovely picturesque place that made a nice video. The streets were empty and quiet and that's how I like them. No rush as you said and plenty of time to enjoy. It's very difficult to find similar in this country and they are never just around the corner.

I've heard that some of those that have, bitterly regret it. I loved my cars from the 70s and 80s that roared around with a smokey exhaust. So much more freedom back then.

@@debsmostexcellentadventure5353 Thanks Debs. It seems that a lot of people miss out on this walk in favour of the popular Wistmans Wood walk. When I played the video back I could clearly see that the words etched on the boulders were "to spencer" & "to Shakespeare " but looking down on it at the time it was difficult to make out the letters. We once had trouble with a goose at the Dartmoor Inn at Merrivale where a goose was chasing everyone going in & out the pub

The truth is that I was unaware 🤔of this beautiful city in France and its extraordinary monuments 🕍🏣🏤that bear the mark of its turbulent history. The enormous rocky shores of the Brittany peninsula have caught my attention before, but this is my first time exploring the city of Pont-l'Abbé in this region. Aerial drone 🪂shots 🎦were also very nice.

Looked exactly what I always imagined a French countryside town would look like, did not expect to see an Irish pub there mind lol. So quiet but I suppose it was their dinner time and it was real nice that someone left you out a beer in that back alley :o) The castle looked amazing, a real fairy tale castle and what a nice beach they had there too and again, it looked so quiet. I like that laid back lifestyle they have there, we defiantly need more of that here, cheers Alan

Watched this last night,think tea in valhalla did a review of this ages ago,im a dory could also been cara.they dont make things like this nomore,and i love what you said,as i always try to imagine what it was like in those days,and all those tiny houses,this must have been amazing when they finished it.yes thought i had seen parts this in harry potter.love the walk up the stairs and the views were stunning.Yes and the pc woke brigade stop you doing anything now days,health and safety cannot lean out to look down ect. sorry wafflng alan loved this more please debs xx 💎

The drone i use is a dji mini 2,had for 2 years i call it frankenstien amount superglue it has had.These videos was when i spent a month in france in june,if you like drone shots watch my secret castle video were i put the drone down a chimney😱,in 4 weeks we had 1 day of rain,and the tent leaked like a sieve,i treated the tent a colemans octoman with water protection,we go back to france from sept to october.

Lovely video debs looks amazing i remember shops used to close on a wednesday here now they are open all the time. The pace of life in the uk is all wrong no work life balance especially in the retail industry so unfair
