    The comparable Chevy would price out $10-12K less, Ram have lost their minds.

    Man I like Ram, but they have lost their minds with the 2023 pricing. Their dealers are already discounting some leftover 2022s pretty heavy. If you need a truck right now, go buy a 2022 for THOUSANDS less vs a 2023

    • @Bruins77Fan
      @Bruins77Fan ปีที่แล้ว

      And the "discounted" 2022s are still over priced.

    Looks like a Tradesman to me....and no bed liner for $75k ?!...wtf....Paid $38k in December of 2018 for my new 2019 2500HD tradesman...fully loaded tradesman at that.

    • @Rommer2258
      @Rommer2258 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ram did something dirty with the 21+ bighorns. They basically made them the tradesman to keep the "starting" price. What you would get in 20 to 21 for the same truck went up about 7500 bucks.

    Stellantis is trying to get the most money for there truck fca won't this bad

  • @bobwatson9290
    @bobwatson9290 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Stellantis must want Ram to fail. $75k for that with no led headlights, no bedliner, no sliding rear window, and the basic 8.4 screen is a big fail.

    $75,000 and Halogen lights wtf RAM??

  • @stackchn

    The sales tax alone is $5k. Just think, buying this truck you are literally lighting a match to $5 grand 💵

  • @nyok20

    Man getting tradesman is better option and no way that basic truck worth $75k 😂 I can go buy basic F250 powerstroke or Silver HD for a low $60k.

    I paid 40k with 2% int 3500 dually big horn in 2014. Car dealers and manufacturers are just ridiculous since Covid. I hope they all go broke and we drive around Cuban cars.

    You talked about the ride being stiffer in this Big Horn than the Laramie and reason is likely the Cummins motor (which weighs 400+ pounds more than hemi gas motor) so the diesel engine makes the Big Horn more front heavy and likely a little stiffer ride in my opinion.

    • @bsd7342
      @bsd7342 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm pretty sure that's not it. The 2020 winding road review of this truck did not bounce like this. The reason is most likely that the tires are way higher than the door PSI. New cars often get shipped with overinflated tires because it helps with shipping somehow. And the dealers are often too lazy to adjust them back to their min ratings. I've never seen Ben comment about this in his videos or confirm that the tires are running at door psi. Which is a mistake if you're going to make judgements on suspension.

    The price is crazy high.

  • @Rommer2258
    @Rommer2258 ปีที่แล้ว

    This explains why Ram is losing truck sales like crazy. Stellantis is killing the brand, they aren't worth it. I'm a dodge guy but the Ford is a better deal and the GMs have a better option to price ratio.

  • @soneybarbosa3951
    @soneybarbosa3951 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ram sell themselves as the best make so it's worth it more. R they the best? That's up to the buyers.

    Any body looking at a big horn do your self a favor and go for the laramine or a Chevy LT. I just bought a 2023 Chevy 2500 duramax custom for 63k without taxes and fees looks to have all the same features this truck has except for the electronic mirrors. So for 12k more I’m happy with the choice of the Chevy.

    That truck is only worth 51K

  • @keytothegate68

    Don't panic. With dealership discounts for unsold 2022's entering 2024 year trucks like this one (2500, diesel with tow prep and 5 th wheel prep) are now discounted to 55K and you can even make an offer on top of that.
