I love the rich history of this/my area being born in Bennington. I have enjoyed this series especially the episodes hosted by Mr. Smith. He reminds me of a decent, passionate teacher I once had. Meeting descendants, as in this episode, is always fascinating. By actually living on the Walloomsac Battlefield and going to many reenactments, I have met and learned from several generations of descendants of our historic actors. Unfortunately it seems not everyone has my affection for it.
