Never got a chance to catch her live back 1980 timeframe, tho sure did play her first two LPs to death back then. One of my favs from the era. So glad this showed up on TH-cam - love it.
I saw her at a little club in Westchester County USA (The Left Bank) back in the 80's (it was previously, guess, a bank!). She was the only performer I saw there who later came back as a patron and hung out. It was so, well, Lene. A great performer, and as said here, unique.
Glad to find this. I just got through listening to the Stateless elpee and thought I'd check YT for a live performance. I saw Lene play at the Malibu Night Club in Lido Beach, NY many many moons ago. She "tore the house down". Thanks for the upload.

Bird Song still haunts me. A little bird told me, you were untrue... Even though, I had, faith in you I believe, the liars words Oh the same, little bird So with the bird, one day, you flew away I woke up, to late, you had gone Fading on....with this song Of the hurting little bird Oh Oh Oh Oh Still I watch the sky Still I wonder why Still I hope that I Can carry on If I can't be strong If you hear my song You'll know that it was wrong, to say good bye.. Such a cold bird, so hard, captured your heart Does it matter, I am, falling apart Breaking fast, as the flesh Oh Oh Oh Oh Of the dead little bird Still I watch the sky Still I wonder why Still I hope that I Can carry on If I can't be strong If you hear my song You'll know that it was wrong, to say good bye
negli anni 80 sei stata la mia Regina tu non puoi immaginare. Grazie di essere esistita e a sta punto di essere ancora viva ,tu non puoi immaginare quanto mi hai mandato in Paradiso.

Thank you Lene Lovich and the band! You are amazing. I'm 60 this year. I love you as much , if not more, than when I was young.

Bird Song still haunts me.
A little bird told me, you were untrue...
Even though, I had, faith in you
I believe, the liars words
Oh the same, little bird
So with the bird, one day, you flew away
I woke up, to late, you had gone
Fading on....with this song
Of the hurting little bird
Oh Oh Oh Oh
Still I watch the sky
Still I wonder why
Still I hope that I
Can carry on
If I can't be strong
If you hear my song
You'll know that it was wrong, to say good bye..
Such a cold bird, so hard, captured your heart
Does it matter, I am, falling apart
Breaking fast, as the flesh
Oh Oh Oh Oh
Of the dead little bird
Still I watch the sky
Still I wonder why
Still I hope that I
Can carry on
If I can't be strong
If you hear my song
You'll know that it was wrong, to say good bye
Fantastic!
This is where the Stones played from their live album Love You Live from 1977.

I know
Awesome. Shes busting a gut onstage and crowd remains seated. Smh
Boomer audiences seem to be real sedated at shows. Glad that’s changed!
She gives Yoko Ono a run for her money on some of those creepy sounds. 😮😊😩🙄😧😬
sei unica non ripetibile

What would Judy Garland say?
Do you have the actual dates?
Sadly I don't.
1st March 1980
sitting on your hands, really?
No New Toy???
She's so unusal… and isn't this Citytv back in the good old days? Mark Dailey, where are you?
It is CityTV!
She's so unusual way before Cyndi Lauper!
