I feel like people who are in Film School should definitely watch the sequel trilogy in order to know what not to do in terms of filmmaking and making a trilogy.

Hilarious commentary! My dad said Rise of Skywalker was so bad he was almost hoping that Jar Jar Binks would show up just to make it a bit more tolerable which is funny because when The Force Awakens came out he said that the best thing about it was there's no Jar Jar Binks.

I tried doing a commentary on this movie but the movie was just too bad and painful for me to do it I had to turn it off after 15-20 minutes props to ya for going all the way through Matt.
The film is far too incomprehensible to garner enjoyment from. It has to keep canon with Last Jedi, but also wants to stray away from it at the same time. You can't have it both ways.

i'm totally with you man , this movie as well as this trilogy fail on so many levels and even though i give force awakens a decent pass , these movies were not any more about telling the story but it was just about cash on the barrel and nostalgia

Force awakens was a giant pile of steaming shit.. and JJ ripped of Coruscant in his Bullshit star trek movies.. Instead of having San Francisco / Star fleet academy appear as it did in TNG and TOS movies.. We get a fucking direct rip off of the speeder chase scene in Attack of the Clones because Jar Jar abrams has no capacity for original thought, nor does Alex Kurtzman..
Pretty cruel to request Matt to sit through this again. I know I requested Pocket Ninjas, but this film is gonna hurt his soul.
This movie pisses me off so much that i feel like starting a riot.
