I'm thinking of buying a Oleomac 962 chainsaw, do you find it a good reliable strong machine ?? Its hard to get reviews on them but they look a real tough chainsaw, how has your chainsaw been ? Any negatives to say about it from your experience of using it.
DEXTER941 Haven't had a problem yet. Negatives, if you consider it a negative, are of course they are "old" , very well proven, technology, all the "cool" new stuff is missing. If you can live with that, they will cut enormous amounts of wood!
***** Cool stuff usually leads to problems, all I want is performance and reliability. I know they are a little heavy and don't look as cool as some Stihl or Husky models but I don't care about that. I have picked up a Oleomac 962 and was very impressed with its build quality but I wanted your view on its performance and most importantly its reliability.
+DEXTER941 I write to you so that I had in my life a few chainsaws and have experience with chainsaws. Efcko 162 is really neatly made and reliable. Italian company, strangely is very good.
WhT kind .of wood was that?
I like your enthusiasim! I have the same saw from Oleo Mac.

How any times was the chain trying to kickback lol
This is like a comedy sketch, or the intro to a episode of Casualty :o Even down to the caption "Really good chainsaw" haha.
