It’s normal for asians because they think this is how beauty standards look like. I’m european in south korea and im really annoyed how they try to follow something that is not meant for them. Between them I feel like an original they try to copy so hard, like they ask me how my nose job but my nose natural and about my hair and eye colour but it’s all natural. It’s weird how normal it is for their idols and some people obsessed with white beauty standards to fake white features because society makes them feel ugly that they look like averga asian people

It's offensive and creepy they assume it isn't real just because we don't look like them. Their obsession with looking European is disturbing, I don't know what it says about society. This wouldn't look natutal irl tbh. Highlight and contour looks very visible irl. It only looks good on camera with perfect lighting or flash photography. Not to mention the colored lenses and fake lashes would be noticeable af irl.

This is really weird - race and ethnicity isn't a costume to be worn and yet, here we are. Does anyone else find this freaky? It's not the same as black or brown face but it's still a little offensive and still somehow inappropriate. I didn't know painting yourself to look like another race of people was considered acceptable these days. It's okay to disagree with me but I at least want some insight as to why anyone thinks this is acceptable when it would be ragged on for any other race.

I was surprised of hand and arm movements in Egypt, the head in India (and surrounding countries) the lack of facial expressions in Russia... The most mindblowing experience was a turkish stunning girl (imagine Anna from Frozen) who was born and raised in China. My brain couldn' t process her features with her face and body language. Try to watch a korean make up tutorial in mute and pay attention to the way they move their lips and chin to express doubt or disappointment. Y'know I never watch makeup videos but this video just popped up in my recommendation and all the time I was watching my mouth was agape with astonishment. Wow I am so amazed with the transformation. I just wish there is an english caption though so that I would understand what she's talking about.
