i have a good bone stock 4.6 with a bad tranny. To get a durable automatic is arond 6000 at the moment so if that was my budget wondering if tere is a durable Manual swap for less cost. its for a road racing application in official race series. What would you do? @@ForceEngineering
You dont need a mid plate to do the swap. The decision to run a midplate is based on HP. You'll be able to run the adaptor flex plate and crankshaft pilot adaptor and be fine.

No i didnt. Mine is an aftermarket case trans tho. Not sure how much different the stock case is.
