Nocturne from Shylock by Fauré arr Col Adamson - 6 Manual organ-1 Estey, 5 VPO's 2 Yamaha Keyboards

This is my home organ (6 manual- approx 180 stops), which I have put together from a 100 plus year old Estey Reed organ, digital keyboards, Hauptwerk and Grandorgue computer organs and an Ahlborn Galanti MIDI organ module. Here are 4 X 3 manual Theatre organs, 2 Yamaha keyboards and 1 Ahlborn Galanti MIDI organ module. From Faure's Suite from the incidental music Op. 57, Nocturne from Shylock. There is a lot of dynamic range in this orchestral transcription, and so the swell pedals get a constant work out as well as the stepper switches for the Yamaha Keyboard, to blend all the sounds together from each of the organs/module and keyboard. It might appear simple, but there is a lot going on. It's a lovely piece. Thank you to Peter Richard Conte who masterfully plays my favourite organ - the Wanamaker organ in Philadelphia. I heard him play this piece and set about transcribing/ arranging it myself. (I also have Virgil Fox on vinyl playing this). You may hear Peter playing this from the 12 minute mark at • Wanamaker Organ Weekly... - I'm using what I'd call a 'clear flute' which is a very powerful flute. I am using the St Anne's Mosely 4' Flauto Magico with sub octave on and Swell Unison off - on 'high pressure' (that's tech talk for turned up loud!) It's lovely with the light tremulant.

Thanks. It was drawn by the minister of my church at which I was organist some 35 years ago. He thought that’s how I must’ve look given my enthusiasm in playing.
