Your videos are helping me learn how to cutdown a few of my eleven Shih Tzu’s. They have always been in full coat even after attaining their CH. title. Keeping on top of the grooming has left me with no life & which is reason to reduce my work load. It’s more difficult than one would think to cut the first down but it’s a must at this I’m my life. Hi frim Australia. I am not a prfessional but been grooming my own dogs for years. My shit su lets me wash, brush, and trim close with scissors all over now., including all the rear end. I have treats on hand and he gets one at intervals during stages. eg. eyes, head, legs, feet, tail, and tummy. He now dozes during the process. Grooming is now a pleasure but it has taken patience, and praise and treats. x

Question , why did you blow dry after shaving? Does it leave less tracks? or was he just damp? -new groomer
He is soaking wet when she blow dries him - its pretty obvious she stripped him down first and then bathed him.
Sometimes when dogs are going to recieve short haircuts we "rough cut" their unwanted coat for quicker bathing and drying times.
