Kevin is literally the hilarious honest antagonist of the show
He is very funny and can definitely take jokes thrown at him, but damn his constant interruptions drive me crazy!! Also hate it when he chimes in as if he is the show's host and sums up the offers and pressures the person to decide when he hasn't even made an offer!!!
I think he makes the show.
He chimes in to speed up the process. Plus he helps the people understand the deal.

She didn't *give* it away. She invested $10,000 for 25% of a company currently valued at $250,000. So she hasn't made a ton but she's made at least 5 times what she put in. That's hardly a gift.

@X Y not sure it just says deal fell through after the tank, it happens with more deals than u think if u Google it gives u a bit info but does say company is still going and valued at half a million
Sometimes info comes out after the deal is made that causes it to fall through or sometimes the entrepreneurs themselves pull out. They feel pressured to say yes on air, but then they get cold feet when it’s time to sign the paperwork.
Its a good day when you see these long videos with pitches you haven't seen 🙌

i'm not a fan of the idea. Something that will end up at Big Lots or Ollie's but i wish the guys luck. It is a decent idea but seems like it needs something.

@@crw662 as someone who loves cooking and runs a catering business, I have never had a need for this in my life. I'm pretty sure it'll also leak down the side of the pan and end up on the hob, useless product.

As someone who is not a professional cook but has to cook at home, this would be a huge help.
It’s also great for my wife who always struggles to drain meat because it’s so heavy. This would allow her to have morale control even with the weight.
It’s a genius product.

I love how Mark made the the last two guys wait before either giving them an offer or letting them get out without a deal. Such liars when they said that they came on the show with the target of getting a deal with Lori and Rohan, all they wanted was a deal with Mark.

Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe. Building wealth and remaining financially stable indefinitely is a lot easier with the appropriate information. Participating in financial programs and products is the only true approach to make a high income and remain affluent indefinitely.

That last pitch really shows what sets Mark apart. He would never fight for deal, it lowers his perceived value.

I get that the HandyPan inventors were looking for a strategic partner, but $10k for 20% is ridiculously low. The only one who didn't see the value in it was Kevin.

Lori was the most practical and rational person in the room, I think Mark was too, and just enjoying the pan guys presence, and talking. He was definitly going to take the flyer with 10k if Lori didn't.
Kevin and Robert looked like complaint AssHats in this pitch with the pan guys. Grilling them and forgetting that they only asked for 10k for 20%, a 50k valuation, I mean come on. Kevin and Robert treating them like they were failing on all levels and this thing is useless and you havent done anything, blah blah blah. They didn't ask for a million dollars, so lighten up.
Regardless, Lori was the best shark for this product anyway. They will hit this thing out of the park.

They could have gotten 500K for 15% easy because they had the upper hand of the bargain.
Honestly I think those pan guys planned this strategically. On purpose they didn't spend enough time promoting the product and they don't even use Amazon ffs ! While at same time them got decent jobs so got money coming in from that, and all they focused was on producing the final product and patenting it well thanks to the lawyer guy, which comes in handy.
Now, to sell they just went on shark tank asking for 10k which isn't enough only for production they will use that 10k the rest promotion Lori will do it because they just got a QVC experienced shark.
The product itself is a problem fixer I can't remember how many times I had to drain fat or water from pan while cooking meat or pasta.
They basically sold a stake of their company for pretty much free and got Lori in exchange well done

The pan concept seems cool. But after you drain oil or whatever, now you will have oil or whatever dripping down the side of the pan. So now you have an even more mess.
A simple wipe with a wet towel would fix that in seconds. It would still be far less messy and time-consuming than the alternative.
