Actually u dont understand d real ragas. Only expressions shouldnt b needed. U badly need d knowledge of some classical music. Without it, u only do d expressions,not know d power of ragas,sargam.

I started from some of his mainstream qawwalis that everyone is familiar with but later discovered a plethora of songs/qawwalis that are not popular at all and are absolutely brilliant,like hidden gems. I've stopped listening to any other music because this man has all variety, ghazal, qawwali, sad songs, urdu, Hindi, punjabi, Persian you name the form of music and he has done it. I feel like this man was a miracle in himself. React to his sanson ki mala pe where Rahat is a 9 year old kid and being trained by NFAK live on stage. He trained him through live performances and made him what he is today. The world of music will forever remain indebted to and in awe of the great Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan!!!
