Senior Provincial Inspector Arense probably owns a lowered vehicle judging by the position of his seat😂. It’s good to see how the roads we use everyday are patrolled and kept safe. We appreciate it
Absolutely amazing to see a South African video like this on TH-cam!!! I would have never expected it. I love the behind the scenes and will do my part to keep the roads safe this is really inspiring. I am not even from the western cape.
So many people need to see this. There are so many drivers on our road just doing what they want. Also so good to see active policing. I thought our police were on reactive.
When you go for your drivers license you need to work the steering wheel 10 to 2 with your hands otherwise you dont pass. Meaning that you must have both hands on the steering wheel while turning and never use one hand but this traffic officer at 7:45 does the exact opposite LOL!
The goosebumps I get when I watch this typa videos,,my dream is to become a traffic officer next year,I'm finishing matric this year so can anyone tell me where do I start first please, would really appreciate it
Hi Bronwen, Thanks for getting in touch! If you're interested in becoming a traffic officer, please check out the website for Gene Louw Traffic College here: pulse.ly/iabtypfswb As you'll see, you need to be permanently employed by a local or provincial authority. We would advise you to keep an eye on the website of the Mobility Department for any news about recruitment opportunities: pulse.ly/t58bmgbn6u Best regards 👮🏾♂️
The amount of stupidity and entitlement I see on the roads on a daily basis is absolutely sickening. It would be so cool to have more cops like this in JHB.
A tough job indeed! However my respect for Cape Town Traffic officers is waning due to their undeniable will to send cars to roadworthy for insignificant faults whilst not even inspecting tyre condition or other relevant points at roadside roadblocks. This kind of victimization is unnecessary. Cool video series otherwise👍🏻
I have no problem with anything here. All I want is people to understand that no matter what the bosses say, E-bikes are classed as MOTOR VEHICLES by the road traffic act of 1996, and need to be processed as such, and also, when a cop on duty breaks the law without justification, they stop being cops and start being criminals, and should be fined a minimum of R50 000! You must lead by example!
Ther only reason I downvoted this video is because of the annoying closed captions; I don't want this crap on screen. I get that there are people that require it, but YT has an option to turn it on or off, I don't need it on screen permanently, use the feature. Thank you.

Always wondered if drivers get pulled off for no numberplates. Really good to actually see the law being enforced so professionally.
Thank you for your support Danie.

Please come to KZN North Coast
The map at 10:50 is incorrect. Langebaan is not CPT
There should be a by law for the drop top with the hidden temp

Gauteng law inforcements could learn a lot from Western cape
The entire Emergency Services here in WC has this quality...very close knit team of people,no egos, everyone know their role and how to execute it.
gautengs law enforcement is filled with big mamas who eat kfc the whole day and want R5 for coke

2:40 look how she is ‘holding’ the steering wheel. That’s a driving test FAIL.

Well done, but I do believe that the Porsche should have been fined. If it was someone with bicycles on the back there would have been no hesitation.
Yous got rime for jokes, we know that Porsche driver is one of JP's chommies
