      Another vote for Delay Showcase employing your inimitable style. Or something completely different. Foller yer mooze.

    Thank you for being a sonic librarian in the eurorack modular world. You should have more subs! Thank you for all the hard work you put in creating your video's. Your and Redmeansrecordings vids about Sealegs convinced me to order one! Can't wait to get my hands on it. I'm also very interested to experiment combining Sealegs with Beads.

      The same thing happened to me when I watched Jeremy's vid and Mylars. When it was announced I thought 'another delay in 2023?', but now I fully understand. Thanks for the support and I started with no subs in 2020 so I am happy with how it's going. Maybe modular will go totally mainstream one day. And I'll be waiting.

    Note: It seems that pitch shifting is not happening in the digital mode. I missed that because my ears told me something different. This is probably because the module needs time to adjust when switching to a new mode. It does not clear the buffer which may lead to unexpected results - especially when switching to the digital mode. So I made a wrong assessment here, sorry about that. As always, use your own ears and don't always trust what you read! Don't forget to check out the 1.1 update which adds clickless freeze and expanded 'drive' routing.

    Thanks man .. I have been thinking a delay, such as Nautilus .. but this looks good, too. Especially handy, in my opinion .. is the slider configuration/array of Sealegs. It seems like this would be easier way to keep track of the combined situation, versus knob rotation settings.

    Beads and Chronoblob can deal gracefully with semi regular clocks, they do vaguely glitchy cut up stuff.

    Probably did not help me narrow things down but I am enjoying the journey and your sounds ❤

      Well, if it didn't immediately appeal to you then it already narrows things down a bit :).

      @@CinematicLaboratory it’s just the amount of choices is incredible. Made a strange choice and went for a second hand Make Noise Echophon.

    🔥🔥 How do you make your plonk sounds as beautiful??? I’m trying to model that preset and is impossible to make that guitar sound 😅

    • @CinematicLaboratory
      @CinematicLaboratory  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I used the 'tech bass' preset for this. You may notice I patched every CV input and decay all the way CW. Regardless, it's just the preset but it comes to life with CV and most important, pick the right notes so it sounds like Spanish. I used the double harmonic scale (D, D#, F#, G, A, A#) and used an occasional C, C# for extra drama.

    I'm curious about button combos. Is there a lot of them to memorize when it comes to changing various modes and whatnot?

    • @CinematicLaboratory
      @CinematicLaboratory  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Greg. There are just a handful of button combos, most are set and forget. Alt+Drive sets input gain, which is very useful. Alt+Noise selects different noise sounds, Alt+Reverb sets the tail, Alt+Reverb Switch sets the position of Drive in the signal path (v1.1) and Alt+Sync affects delay panning and skew. And off course there's the Alt assignment for the ALT CV input so you can select which destination to modulate (next to the dedicated CV inputs for most used functions). In general, everything you need is right there on the panel. Hope this helps!

    What a terribly misguided and incoherent video. How bizarre hahaha. But the sounds are incredible so I think it's best to ignore the rambling text and just enjoy the beautiful sound design.

      Misguided and Incoherent. That's me :). I make videos but in the end I am just a user getting lost in technocracy where people release new firmwares while making a video.
