I’m really so sick of the idea that if something isn’t “as hard” as other people have experienced, that means it’s not valid. That’s honestly ridiculous. You work two jobs, one of which is self employment which is NOT easy at all, AND you’re choosing to better yourself by going to grad school. Even if the program isn’t “as hard”, it’s still harder than NOT going to grad school, and it will benefit your future. I truly hope you share more about it 🥰

Hi Carter! Love to hear that you are taking easy after that long covid. Afer being sick (I also had covid early this year second time around), I felt hard to totally get back on track with cardio and going to the gym. Also, regarding going to amusement parks, imagine riding a rollercoaster after being sick- it's not totally a good idea. Got to ride a roller coaster even when I'm not sick. Still felt the tense of being turned upside down and sudden freefalls. It's really taking time with yourself one step at a time
I would love to see grad school content! I just started my first semester of grad school two weeks ago. I’m only taking 2 classes because I’m working full time. I think showing what it’s like to navigate the balance of part time school and corporate life

And wow...you should be proud you are listening to your body! This is huge... in a culture where we’re told to just grind and push through etc. it’s soooo important to just be kind to yourself! I had covid a couple weeks ago and I have been trying to get back into working out but I know my body is just tired. I walked on the treadmill for 20 minutes and it made me so tired. Usually I can go 40 minutes or more. It’s frustrating. Thank you for talking about how you are feeling and keeping it real.

You keep scoring on your shopping hauls! I went this last weekend to our HomeGoods and didn't find much cute stuff like you did, but am in the states. BUT, you completely inspired me to keep it simple and found some cute decor at other places and love being in a fall mood early. Your finds are brilliant and seeing it all come together is so fun. I also love seeing your school vlogs and sharing what you are going through. I may go back for a certificate in something and it's really helpful to see you go through it. And I think you are doing the best you can with your health, and also feeling the feelings about not going sooner on your trip. You are amazing and soon your home will be all put back together. Small steps. You got this!

It helps to not overspend on impulse purchases but a couple of those here and there aren't a bad thing at all! It's so important for you to show how you need to prioritize your health even when that prevents you from something exciting like a fun trip! I hate that people shamed you for showing your grad school experience, everyone's journey is unique and valid, you work hard at your two jobs on top of grad school while also enjoying life! Nothing wrong with any of that it's just YOUR experience! 💕

I am a career RN and the thought of going back for my Masters is sickening and the thought of staying at the bedside til the end of my career is equally as daunting (17 years down, 20 to go! 😩) so a program like yours is super interesting to me. I'm currently in grad school and would love any content you can give on balancing school in general (doesn't matter what level or program) and a job (full-time or part-time). You're incredibly relatable and authentic on your channel and think not showing a part of it as big as school would be unfair to you! I hope you can push past the negative comments that are a reflection of them not you and show more content because your subscribers love it!

Grad school is an accomplishment no matter if it's a certificate or a full degree. I'm also a worst-case scenario mindset thinker especially when it comes to navigating new friendships and relationships.
I totally agree and I'm trying to find the balance of being proud of myself for being in grad school but not making anyone else's grad school experience inferior to mine if that makes sense?
I got all the Harry Potter books in a boxed set a couple weeks ago and then I got all the movies as well as the first 2 Fantastic Beasts movies. Definitely comfort movies.

Hey, please sure about your post graduate journey. I am an occupational therpist and I am very interested in course based post graduate programs. I would love to see you go through this journey.
As someone who STRUGGLES through undergrad even though the work itself isn’t “hard” I can’t imagine thinking about judging someone else’s education journey. There is so much that goes on around getting a degree that has nothing to do with the degree. Life is not just one things at a time. People have jobs, families, personal struggles, so many other things impact the student experience. Get your degree and block out the negative comments.
I'm in a masters program, applying to PhD. Everyone's programs are different no matter what level it is at, what type of study it is, or how many classes they are taking. Anyone that wants to hate on you for talking about your program and you showing how it is for you is going to find something to hate on you about no matter what. It really says more about them than you. I'd love for you to share more graduate school content. Showing all the different ways graduate school can look makes it more accessible. Gatekeeping what graduate school should or shouldn't look like is so played out and over.

It makes me sad that people were making you feel uncomfortable about sharing grad school content! That type of feedback is honestly not constructive feedback. If anything it's really helpful to share that there are many routes to the education you need, it's not just full-time grad school or nothing.
I agree!! I chose the route I did because it was accessible and affordable to pay out of pocket and accommodated to my schedule and it's so helpful like you said to show the different ways you can do it!!

Please share more about grad school content! I just finished my MPH and for what it's worth my coursework probably looked very similar to yours! Just because one program is a certificate and another has a thesis doesn't mean one is "better" than the other. Grad-level classes are hard no matter what
