After learning Web Development, the next step is System Design. Thank god for Dan! Nearly 8 years after I graduated college, I am back here learning System Design because my IT teacher was so bad at teaching C++, HTML, etc. that I missed out on the Software Engineers boom.
Thank you so much for putting lectures out there for everyone!! I've been watching your cs50 lectures and when I found this I got excited. You're really good at explaining things while also being quick.
What's the difference between CS50 and CS75? Bit strange having the course structure described in the middle of the lecture - it should be at the start, surely?
CS50 is an optional first programming course taught at Harvard, a kind of prerequisite for what's to come in the first semester. CS75 is just a summer course that teaches web development and assumes you know programming basics.
A curse I put on the same notebook after he made me write a suicide note after putting a good idea in the same notebook with my pset notes "It may be you, it may be me It may be who you're gonna see Let's wet the heads, chain the smoke Lock the doors and slit our throats"
And those who wound up following suit helped add this to the curse "I'm on my way my way my way my way out and I can't justify the way we crash and thrash all around why can't we lay mongst the rug of cigarette burns and watch it burn oh I'll watch you burn Won't you light up the camera(candle) and burn? Melt towards the floor and swerve Turn right of the next exit I hope you do a backflip as you crash into traffic" I don't think they knew I've done all that before and they wound up cursing their own friends with car crashes while the only thing I had to do was take a picture and cause a candle to explode
I like how they started it at lecture 0 because it's computer science
Hip Hip.... ARRAY!
@byron perez No, here is response number 2
oh yeah that's totally my favorite thing: when they make stuff less clear because they're trying to be cute.
Thanks Prof David. This professor's way of explaining things is just incredible

IP V6 is not u.v.w.x.y.z - because that would be 48 bits :P don;t know who added the captions...
Three years later, and IPv6 addresses are still moderately rare. lol
and even now )
Love the way he lecture...I wonder if he has a compile video for web development, you can learn more, 1hr is really a short time..

34:21 really helpful!
They are free. Not because anyone stole them, but because they are made available, for free, by Harvard.
great video.
can i have DNS server on my laptop and that may help in faster browsing
???
you already have it :P its called hosts file which contains many iPs of the sites that you frequently visit
For those reading this, Im pretty sure most of us didnt know, localhost is actually mapped to 127.0.0.1 on your machine host file.
I love how he vehemently uses the word anal a few times :D I loved the video!! Thank you...

200 ok
Got a curse for the thieves at Harvard "Smoking Fences"
David Malan is now possessed for possessing those writing notes to keep them from drawing.
A curse I put on the same notebook after he made me write a suicide note after putting a good idea in the same notebook with my pset notes
"It may be you, it may be me
It may be who you're gonna see
Let's wet the heads, chain the smoke
Lock the doors and slit our throats"
And those who wound up following suit helped add this to the curse
"I'm on my way my way my way my way out
and I can't justify the way we crash and thrash all around
why can't we lay mongst the rug
of cigarette burns
and watch it burn
oh I'll watch you burn
Won't you light up the camera(candle) and burn?
Melt towards the floor and swerve
Turn right of the next exit
I hope you do a backflip
as you crash into traffic"
I don't think they knew I've done all that before and they wound up cursing their own friends with car crashes while the only thing I had to do was take a picture and cause a candle to explode
The Name of The Curse all together? Gnarley Balboa
Almost forgot I put a Ouija drawing in there just to connect to them too and see how shitty their Hell is
It's funny, writing notes became outlawed in Harvard after I came around.
Bit coin
This professor's way of explaining things is just incredible
AWESOME
