100 Easy Ukrainian Texts by Yuliia Pozniak is very useful for beginner level students. It is also nice that they have online audio available to listen to all of the texts in the book. Beginner's Ukrainian bt Yuri Shevchuk is also very good for beginners, and again it also has audio files available online which is very useful. There are two audio-only courses I also recommend, one is called Pimsleur Ukrainian, and the other is called Glossika. I'm happy to hear you have new flashcards, im just about done learning your 200 Ukrainian verbs flashcards, so I will order the new ones soon. :)
Привіт, Інна! I love your videos! If you ever want to use that Крок CD-ROM, I would be happy to convert it to an image file so you can read it without a CD-ROM drive. Assuming you don't know anyone local that can do that for you.
4:47 Actually it's only GOOD that the book has no English and that it has Ukrainian italics. That is the correct and effective way of teaching a second language. Plus, learning a language without a teacher (just from a textbook) has no sense whatsoever. It would be similar to learn to drive a car from a textbook, but without a car! Pointless. After all a language is not only about reading, but also (and mainly) about talking (that is meaningful, reciprocal responding in speech to what you listen to, so you need a person to talk to, you can't possibly be talking to a book) and writing (thus you need to learn to write in italics).

This is HORRIBLE advice. This does not include any of the best textbooks for Ukrainian, most specifically Rozmovliaimo, which is used by Harvard University. This person does not know what she is talking about.
