V-Dipole 750V Trial

- This is a 750V HF V-dipole antenna.
Last weekend, we installed and tested it for the first time at Daebudo beach.
I received too many signals from stations in Europe or the eastern United States, which were not usually heard at my home (Seoul, Central District).
Aside from hearing signals that cannot be heard in downtown Seoul, it is a pity that many HAMs could not communicate because there is a limit to signals transmitted only by car battery power.
If given the opportunity, DX communication with more HAMs would be possible if the antenna could be raised to a higher altitude and transmitted maximum power with sufficient power supply connected to a 220 V AC power source.
The antenna is produced and sold by China's BG7PNV, which is sold by Aliexpress and can be found on my blog for more information.
While purchasing this product from China, I told BG7PNV that I would try it and sell it in Korea if I liked it, but I don't know if many HAMs in Korea will be needed.
If a Korean HAM need this one, you can buy it from Aliexpress, but if you want to buy it cheaper, you can contact me personally and find a way.

지난 주말 대부도 바닷가에서 첫 설치 및 테스트를 했습니다.
유럽이나 미국 동부의 지역에서 날아온 많은 신호를 수신했는데 이런 신호들은 평상시 우리 집(서울, 중부 지구)에서는 들리지 않는 신호들이었다.
서울 도심에서 들을 수 없는 신호들을 듣는 것과는 별개로, 자동차 배터리 파워만으로 송신하는 신호에 한계가 있어서 많은 HAM들과 교신을 못한 것이 좀 아쉽다.
기회가 된다면, 좀더 높은 고도로 안테나를 올리고 220V AC 전원에 연결된 충분한 전원 공급으로 최대의 파워를 송출 할 수 있다면 더 많은 HAM 들과 DX 교신을 할 수 있을 것이다.
이 안테나는 중국의 BG7PNV이 제작해서 판매하고 있는데 aliexpress에서 판매하고 있고 자세한 정보는 아래 블로그에서 확인할 수 있다.
이 제품을 중국에서 구매해 오면서 BG7PNV OM에게 내가 써 보고 좋으면 한국에서 많이 팔아주겠다고 말은 했지만 한국의 OM님들이 많이 필요할지는 모르겠다.

Used this antenna for the last 3 years at my QTH on a 10m tower. Outstanding performance, and band coverage at the price point. 190USD I paid.

I purchased this antenna directly from China recently, I find it's cheaper than other similar antennas. However due to limited horizontal space at my QTH, I opted to use only one leg of the antenna mounted as a vertical with only 2 radials of 2.5 meter in length. On 14.180 Mhz I can use it without antenna tuner, because the SWR is down to 1.0, I can also hear many stations which I could not with EFLW antenna. I am a low budget ham operator.

I am so sorry for late reply. I didn't tunning that C pole, just I used it with all three holes aligned. The SWR was under 1.3. Thanks!

4. 7Mhz adjustment: Adjust the length of the C Pole 1880mm. Shorter length can change up to 7.080 Mhz and longer length can change up to 7.020 Mhz. Factory setting center frequency is set to 7.050Mhz.
@@HL1QVH Thank you very much for your answer. I was reading your blog and my new question is: when the shortest length is 7.080Mhz, the SWR is 1.5 or 1? And if so, would it be 7.075 Mhz 1.5 - 7.080 Mhz 1.1 - 7.085 Mhz 1.5?

@@JulyFPV Factory set center freq. is 7.050 , then SWR of 7.080 is about 1.3 in the spec. I was used default setting at the test of FT8, there was no concern about SWR.
