I used to think every investor lose out during inflation, meanwhile, some make millions. I also thought everybody went out of business during the Great Depression, but some went into business. The bottom line, there's always depression for some and profit for others, it all starts with having the right mindset. That said, I've set asides $250k to invest for the future, unfortunately, I'm a complete noob.

Bad year for me, META is down 40k, ALLP is down 35k, Draft Kings is down 6k, NIO is down 15K, ABML is down 8k, and my wife doesn’t know. I'm just hanging on to Jim Cramer's words about opportunities in volatile times so perhaps, I either wait for a recovery or pick profitable investments to substitute for my loss.

the market has gone berserk! whether you're a newbie or a veteran trader, everyone needs a sort of coach at some point to thrive forward

@@JohnGordon-ek7gy Well agreed, that's the more reason I prefer my day-to-day market decisions being guided by an invt-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short term, at the same time laying off risk as a hedge against inevitable downturns, coupled with the exclusive information & analysis they get, it's near impossible to not out-perform. I've been using a coach for over 3 years, and my portfolio has yielded from an initial $500k to a ballpark estimate of $1.8m as of today.

@@georgia94012 ambitious! If you don't mind, could you tell me who is your coach? I've heard of coaching, an alternative to sending money out blindly, where investments are made in a personal trading account with the assistance of a professional advisor. Is this accurate?

@@JohnGordon-ek7gy Absolutely, Catherine Morrison Evans is my portfolio coach, and my trading account basically mirrors that of hers, it's quite transparent and automated, so I don't have to be active during trades. You can vet her if you like

I recently made more purchases. Saving money for a market downturn is likewise a bad idea. There are numerous ways to look at recessions and depressions, we cannot always expect to make large returns, and taking chances is better than doing nothing. The bottom line is that you will achieve remarkable results by diversifying your portfolio and making wise decisions. My portfolio's raw earnings rose by $608k in just 5 months.

Despite my confidence in your advice, my recent stock purchases, and the fact that I am an AMC shareholder, I haven't been able to accumulate anything. I had already been in the hole for too long prior to the downturn. What's the investing procedure?

I do not have a single fund that I invest in because I have a range of jobs. I certainly don't behave that way. I model my behavior after that of Yvonne Annette Lively, a seasoned financial counsellor licensed by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Since then, my returns have risen swiftly in contrast to the IRA's gradual development. What I have is only used by her trades, not by a few really niche businesses.

I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 200K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a Fin-Advisor) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and losing all the good opportunities.>

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I’m buying again
