I absolutely cannot watch this one Mr. Be Amazed! I am terrified of heights and some of the rides would probably give me a heart attack. I will give you a thumbs up because your videos are always amazing! 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
We just got back from Vegas and the Insanity ride has been closed for a long time now and it sounds like there are no plans to re-open it anytime soon. Something about a broken part. My family was disappointed.
When I was 9 years old, I was nearly one of those death statistics. Thank *_God_* He held me in the seat! I've never ridden rides the same way again. I'm in my 30's now and pretty much anything but the Ferris wheel scares tf out of me.
It really is interesting, my Grandfather, whom went on a kiddy ride with me at a very young age. I remember him panicked while holding the safety bar down 😮, needless to say I love thrills and that didn't scare me. Trauma with different folks is interesting.
@@pollypockets508 I went to Fiesta Texas in San Antonio. My grandfather and I were riding rides together and I wanted to go on the roller coaster called Poltergeist. I suddenly got this feeling not to get on the ride. I'd never experienced that before. I pushed it down because I wanted to ride it. As I waited in line, I kept getting this feeling not to get on and, although it certainly got my attention, I still didn't listen to it and I got on. That feeling got stronger after I sat down in the seat. Back then, they had really thick harnesses on the coaster. Once they lowered the harnesses, you couldn't see the person you sat next to. I could only see a tuft of my grandpa's hair sticking out in the front when I turned my head over to look at him. The workers of the ride went through, checking everyone's harness except they skipped me. I became extremely overwhelmed inside, felt like I should say something, but I didn't, and I scolded myself and said it would be okay. I remember seeing one worker hold up their hand in a fist with their thumb out, hand turned where the thumb was pointing out to the side and not up. Then I saw him turn his hand to give a thumbs up, a button was pressed, and we shot off. The split second we took off, my harness lifted up and over my head, standing up. Those few seconds felt like slow motion somehow. At first I couldn't believe what I was seeing and I actually touched my chest for proof and I saw it above my head, erect in the air. I screamed for my grandpa out of desperation, but he couldn't hear me and he had no idea what was going on. I took hold of the side of the coaster with one hand and clung to my grandpa's sleeve with my right. I saw the first loop and I thought, "I'm going to die", and I prayed, "Lord, please tell my family I love them", and I shut my eyes, expecting to fall out. I felt my body pull into the seat as we went through the loop. I was shocked I hadn't fallen out. We went through turns and cork screws before the second loop. My harness got slammed shut at some point and I heard it click into place. This happened before the second loop. I rode at least half that ride with no harness. After the ride was over, they stopped us at the end of the coaster but did not pull us into the station. We sat out in the heat for at least 15 minutes and for a while, I didn't say a word. I heard these two ladies behind me saying, "That little girl is so brave." My grandpa still had no idea what had just happened. When they finally let us off, I saw one teenage worker of the ride bent over crying hard while another stood by him looking like he'd seen a ghost. My grandpa asked, "What's the problem?" He was simply wondering why we sat out in the heat for so long before being let off the ride. As an adult, I know they were trying to get their story straight during that time. The teenager responded, shakily, "Technical difficulties, sir." When I saw my grandma waiting in the shade under a yellow canopy at a table, I broke into a run and began screaming and crying. She was freaked out and couldn't get everything out of me, just enough that we went looking for a park ranger. We came across one and they had already been notified of what happened and we were told the workers of that ride were being fired as we spoke. I've never been the same after that day. I thank God Almighty that He protected me.
The scariest attractions in the world truly gave me chills! This video is both fascinating and thrilling. Thank you for providing such an amazing experience
I have a season's pass to Canada's Wonderland and both my hubby and our 14 year old have been on Yukon Striker. My kids was on it before either of us and I'm still a little scared to go on it. Looking at people dropping in real time is at daunting lol and I'm a coaster lover! Even then, the coaster called The Bat is one they go on just for me. My kid especially is still a little scared of it because it goes backwards. It's my favorite ride. Going backwards with that many Gs makes me feel sleepy. So I feel so comfy on The Bat. Most people really feel unnerved going backwards lol.
My mom and dad went on the Glenwood Canyon Swing a few years ago, and they enjoyed it. I couldn't ride it yet, because I was 7 years old and 3' 11" then.
@6:00 I never mind the drop but the long ride to the top always gets to me. @9:50 - I would love to go on this roller coaster. That seems like a freaking fun one.
I have been on the giant canyon swing multiple times and I love it and fun fact there is a kids swing next to it that goes in a circle over the canyon which is find even more fun
omg im not even kidding, ive done both the 1st and the 2nd one and theyre wildddd. so basically i think both are equally scaryyy and yet amazing rides 🤩
I have been on a couple of dive coasters, Griffon and Sheikra, at their respective Busch Gardens parks and they are a lot of fun. I love the hang time at the top. Haven't made it to Canada yet. There is another bridge-related attraction that wasn't mentioned in the video, but surely could make for an honorable mention. Especially for those afraid of heights. The New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia is seemingly just a highway bridge that carries vehicle traffic, but you can arrange to take a tour (called the Bridge Walk, naturally) where you get to walk the maintenance walkway under the road deck. The walkway goes the entire 3000 feet of the bridge and is only 2 feet wide. It does have railings but you can see right thru them easily. Plus, when you are on the walkway, you are 850 feet above the river below! The entire walk lasts from 90 minutes up to 2 hours, so you'll have to get used to being up so high for a while. Yes, you do have a safety harness, but still, you have to walk the entire way!😯 I am set to do this for the first time in a couple of weeks. A couple days after I go to Cedar Point. But with rollercoasters all I have to do is sit down, get strapped in and (maybe) hold on. And the Top Thrill Dragster (or Top Thrill 2 as it is now called) would fit under this bridge 2 times with about ten feet to spare! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit nervous, but still, I'm totally looking forwards to it! 😁
I remember when Kingda-Ka first opened. (I live near there and highly recommend riding it) most of our rides were 'double rides' because when it would hit the top, it wouldn't make it and we'd roll back and go again. Lol, it still happens, but not nearly as often.. the WORST thing about this ride.. it gets closed a lot for maintenance and stuff. 5:00
I have done all the rides on the first one (in Las Vegas), and I loved them. All the other ones honestly look super fun to me. I will never understand how people get so scared on rides and other height attractions.
As a teen, my family and I went to Cancun. We visited the Mayan city of Chichén Itzá. It was a super hot day. I climbed to the top, and all of sudden it occurred to me I was standing on an ancient building in a place that (albeit rarely) had earthquakes and I FREAKED OUT! I knew it was silly, but all I could think about was how high up I was, and that the building could crumble beneath me, and I was terrified. Now, the steps on the temple were only about 3 inches wide, and it was a LONG walk down to the bottom. I wasn't alone, it was either my stepmom or my stepsister, but we were both terrified to head down. Now, it happened that there was a thick metal chain in the center of the steps. She and I went down, slowly, step by step, holding onto a metal chain that had been under the very hot sun for hours. People were walking by casually down the steps, looking at us. It took us probably 20-30 minutes to get down. And I had a new fear of heights. But that's not the end of the story. A day or two later, we went on a tour to the Aztec temple, Uxmal. It's stairs were at a 60 degree slope. There was a light rain that day, so the rocks were slippery. As we stood at the base of the temple, the tour guide happened to mention they averaged one death a year off the temple. I raised my hand and asked if anyone had died that year yet. The guide said "Nope!" I turned to my dad and stepfamily and said "I'll be in the tourist shops. Have fun." I headed straight to the ice cream shop (they had ice cream with corn in it!) and my stepmom was close on my heels! It was a great trip, but I developed a fear of deep water there too. Snorkeling, in the ocean I went over this little crest, and discovered a chasm so deep it was pitch black. You couldn't see ANYTHING in it. My mind went to images of tentacles rising up and dragging me down. I still can't do deep water at night. Sometimes having an active imagination ISN'T a good thing.💙
Someone could make a killing selling adult diapers next door to some of these rides! Lol! Well...maybe not...it would be too late for that! Maybe baby wipes and unisex shorts!
The first two rides of the tower in Vegas would be a great way to have a tour of the city skyline. The Ferrari roller coaster would be so cool. Why pay $300,000 or more for a car when you can experience one on a roller coaster for a fraction of the cost. I thought the kinda ka ride was at Cedar point in Sandusky, Ohio because there’s a ride very similar to it Be amazed never gets boring.
I went to Glenwood Caverns back in 2020 and Giant Canyon Swing was one of the rides I did consider going on. But after riding Crystal Tower (Haunted Mine Drop at the time I rode it), I decided the climb back up the hill was not going to be worth riding it as I was ready to leave the park by then.
I’ve rode the Yukon Striker at Canadas wonderland many many times. I absolutely love it. You do feel very secure with the over the shoulders safety bars that are also buckled in with a seatbelt. That said, I will never ride the tallest water slide in the world. If it was a closed tube I’d consider it….
yeah most of those are a definite nope from me. I live in Colorado and that swing gave me anxiety just from watching that POV in the comfort of my own home and computer screen.

I live close to Canadas Wonderland and went on the Yukon Striker in the first seats, that’s the only ride I’ve ever passed out on for about 20 seconds 😂
When I still lived in NJ, Great Adventure was my go to amusement park. Sadly, any time I visited, Kingda Ka was always closed because of weather reasons. NEVER got to go on it. 😭
Fun fact when i was younger we went on a field trip to ferrari world and I was the only one willing to go on formula rossa. Also, my teacher went on it in covid and her mask ripped off her face do to the speed
Nope. Just nope. Nopenopenopenopenopenope! I went to the top of the tower of the Strats (it was still the Stratosphere, when did they change the name?) hotel, and I had trouble just standing on the glass floor! But man, it is a heckuva view! 💙
I went on the X Scream in Vegas a couple years ago in the front. I’m not afraid of heights or death so it wasn’t scary for me but it was a really cool view. I’d recommend it other than it was super expensive lol
Falcon's Flight is a roller coaster manufactured by Swiss company Intamin currently under construction at Six Flags Qiddiya in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is soon going to be the longest fastest and tallest coaster in the world
I've actually been on Yukon Striker before (many times, I used to live a twenty minute car drive away from the amusement park) and I can tell you that it isn't really scary. I actually never knew all of the records about the ride before watching this video
20:25 There’s a video of a tourist who is traversing the bridge, and while he was fine, the safety line just drops on the last two steps. Apparently the safety measures aren’t very good
The first time I rode X Scream I remember Crying after I got off it as it was very intense. But I did manage to ride. The tower big shot which was better than X scream lol.
I'll watch these rides on my phone thank you very much

It s just a chill ride

I got my fear of heights when I fell off a slide.
No SECURITY!!! Lap bar?
Give me a parachute, seat-belts (over shoulder) and make sure it secures into the Lap bar. Hell, make it like a car seat!
Actually went in formula Rossa! Love it. Highly recommend
