The tunnel on the professor's end was dug before they started the lessons for the heist, this was mentioned before, and moscow was digging the hole on the factory's end since they began the heist, so nope, the tunnel you saw wasn't made in 48hours. The majority of it is already done, it's like a 90%/10% type of thing. Also, the 500€ are rare (i've only seen one in person in my lifetime) and they're out of circulation for a while now, so printing 500€ is not a good move at all, Berlin and Nairobi both knew this, that's why his answer wasn't serious, so Nairobi ended up going with the 100€ and 200€ ones instead.
I didn't even know 500€ notes existed until I changed some notes for an Italy trip and was like wtf?. And then I found out how hard they were to break because nobody would take them lmao i had to try 4 different money changers before one agreed to help me break it.
I don’t really like Tokyo but it is not her fault that the professor was caught and he wasn’t where he was supposed to be, so being her the only target that the police easly could have tracked and caught outside she thought that she would be more protected inside with the others and she actually thought it right.
I tend to try to just watch shows without hating characters. Sure, there are characters where I don't like their decisions or overall disposition. For me it's more enjoyable this way. I like Tokyo as a character. She's far from perfect, but that fact has already been established in the story. Moscow literally told her she gets people killed/leaves dead bodies in her trail. I totally understand why you guys hate her. However, if everyone in the show were perfect, it wouldn't be as fun or compelling. When I first watched this episode (and the previous one) I was very upset with Tokyo. But that scene she had in the bathroom, and the talk she had with Moscow was really good, imo. Moments like that make me appreciate flawed/disruptive characters like Tokyo. Berlin is another character who's great, but also flawed. Look what he's putting that chick through (I forgot her name). The show is far from perfect, and has its flaws, but it's really enjoyable for me.
I agree with you totally, also I believe that I understand why the Professor would choose someone like Tokio to join the team, even when he knew how problematic she could be. Professor knows that Tokio is strong and she reacts quickly even in difficult situations, he knew that in the heist, there would be moments when you need to react before thinking. At least that is my opinion, I have a better opinion of her character after watching the 4 seasons.
damn I wish, I hate a lot of characters when watching shows. I dont mind Tokyo overall. Also nothing to do with them being 'perfect', mostly I judge it based on how annoying they are lol. Particularly Walter White in Breaking Bad is imo my best example. Dude was such a loser and so annoying throughout the entire show
Danteisnotkool D no one needs to be “perfect”, characters are allowed to have flaws, you ever met Berlin? He’s loved even as an asshole. Tokyo is just mind numbingly annoying and self righteous.
Very late and apparently very controversial opinion: Tokyo isn't responsible for Moskau getting shot, the professor is. He had a plan when someone (in this case Tokyo) gets captured. He calls the Serbs to free Tokyo and they give her a phone to call the professor. When she calls the professor he will give her the address of the hanger and when she gets there he unlocks the doors and let's her in to keep her safe until everything is over. And the plan could have worked. Raquel captured the prof but he managed to knock her out (in the same time Tokyo gets rescued). The prof should have taken this opportunity to drive to his place in time to accept Tokyo's phone call/ or call her back (he could have taken Raquel with him). Instead he completely abandoned his plan and let Tokyo fend for herself. And why? Just to wait several minutes/ hours (?) until Raquel wakes up so he can "prove his love" to her. He broke his first rule. If he followed the plan, Moskau would have been alright. Also, where else was Tokyo supposed to go? The police put up a barricade around the city which probably means no one leaves the city without getting checked out. Every cop, civilian, even every security camera is just waiting to locate Tokyo. Every second she spends outside is another second increasing her chances of getting caught/killed. She didn't know when/if the prof is going to answer the phone. I mean last time he was gone for 24 hours. But she knew she doesn't have that long. So the only partly safe place inside the barricade was the royal mint. She couldn't give the others more time to prepare for her arrival too. The moment she called Rio the police is beginning to trace her phone. So she had to get inside the mint as fast as possible. So imo Tokyo didn't react unreasonable (at least not in this episode lol).
you get the 500 euro notes in casinos a lot but you cant take them into most shops and spend them at all. Thin theyre the most counterfeited euro note so most places dont take it because of that and because its too big to break up into change for most places. Generally if you have one you need to take it to a casino or a bank to use it/break it up
I don’t really like the girl on the end she seems to be trying to hard to convince us that she doesn’t like Tokyo. Many of you don’t like her either and that’s kind of weird to me Idk if you guys just can’t seem to understand what’s going on or you simply don’t like her for personal reasons but nobody should dislike her the way a lot of ppl do. Honestly she’s not one of my favorite characters not even close on the list but she does have many admirable traits and I think she has daddy issues or something she’s just really troubled and got headed once you understand that you can see why she does what she does and learn to accept that’s just the character. Don’t need to love her don’t need to hate her just accept.
"I wouldn't mind this situation in a field trip" Lmaoooooo as someone who had a man violently drown and die in a beach field trip (and the man wasn't even with us, he was just the only other person besides us at the moment) I can tell you that it was a slightly traumatic experience. @@kaiserxblue Well, I don't really agree, to be honest. I liked Locked Up way more than Money Heist, but I guess it's a matter of taste.
