he got so hyped that he was using a reptile deck so he could use snake rain, only to come to the realisation of every reptile player in history: snake rain isn't a good card

Worm has two varied types of decks:
1 - light reptiles (flip mechanics)
2 - earth bugs (deck out mechanic)
And this is why you always take your wins folks. Not only did Sam fumble a 3-1 lead he gave Reax a win which wound up biting him in the ass like a 9 volt battery

I was putting off watching this because of how heated it was getting. I'm glad to see this episode there was no blaming the comments for taking sides, no arguing over what's cheating. Just a good calm duel where we talked about what was cheating and how to deal with it and no one got upset. Hope it continues.

The saddest part about this series is that we often dont even get to see one of the decks do anything 😅
To be fair thought, this is what Worms do: They lose. 😅
you had too high expectations if you expected worms to do anything. deck has 2 great cards in xex and yagan, 1 broken card in nebula, and 1 decent one that you summon off of the broken card, the rest is trash on par with ally of justice, so essentially you play 10 good cards and hot trash with that

Sam literally played support not in his archetype like a month ago, but it's okay to not be in your archetype so long as it doesn't generate tokens? I know he can't be but it really feels like Sam makes these up as he goes along.
I'd love to continue the sam bashing but the rules have been on the website for a while and seereax accepted it quickly that it wasn't a card he should play so he obviously remembered the rules

It was such a wholesome last duel. I think one of the reasons is Sam just completely accepted that Seereax had the better constructed deck. But well played! Excited for more

So in Duels I beat your number one player in year two with the most amazing, and lucky play. Special summon of leviathan Daedalus into a sweep trap that activated at the same time I could make sacrifice allowing the best person in the game to erase 'nothing,' thanks to Daedalus wiping the field, and then summoning Sanga of thunder into a deletion of remaining set down into a clean lp wipe.

The specific rule they mention is that they can't use cards that summon monsters/tokens that aren't part of their archetype. Photon Sanctuary summons "photon tokens". Even though they are the same type/attribute as the batteryman monsters, they aren't batteryman monsters/tokens, they're not part of the archetype so the card can't be used. Ogdoadic Origin is generic reptile support that doesn't specifically summon anything out of archetype, so it's legal.
Letsgoo! Honestly Batteryman deck impressed me, like Short Circuit can be played so fast into the duel it really shuts down the other deck. Kinda sad we couldnt really see the Worms engine in full work (because of Short Circuit 😂) but still a great vid to end lowE

I used to play worms with the original future fusion effect. Made the deck so much better when you dump 10+ cards and if it does stay around (very rare) you just got a giant beat stick. eat wave as well to really push advantage when going first

You should have a nonbias third party to check your decks before the games, that way you get a judge to tell you what card is allowed or not beforehand. Just to prevent more accidental rulebreaking.
I had a worm deck back in the day when the OG future fusion was legal. Worm Zero is a great card and worm victory was a cool late game card. Also, using evil dragon Ananta helps.

Little fun fact no one will care about but on the Game Boy Advanced game Yugioh World Wide Edition there is an error on Makiu the Magical Mist and mentions Left Arm of the Forbidden One instead of Summoned Skull. Thought it was the most odd and random card as a kid

I am rewatching this series. Definitely proud of my man Seereax, the BOWER to comeback in this 1-3 situaiton. Consider theres an episode that Sam uses High E fighting Low E but still finally got cooked, which is so fun to watch this journey.

That Short Circuit is so strong when there are no interruptions to stop the special summoning. Sam is plenty good at the game, but there's just nothing to be done when your board gets wiped with ease and even if Sam managed to keep something on the field the Batteries can casually summon a wall of defenders and buff up to big numbers.

I would love to see this series become a duel night esq series where there are 4 people who spin from the wheel and face each other in a best of one starting from f tier going all the way to S tier deck being the final episodes. And in order to win that specific wheel you have to win at least twice or something like that. I just think it would be really fun to see it with multiple guest TH-camrs or duelist like Jesse
