Not long back from Antalya. The airport is one of the worst I've ever been to. The place was like an oven (perhaps to get you to buy more expensive drinks) and there were hardly any seats apart from the departure gates. However you had to queue to get into the departure gates for "extra security". The airlines really need to do something to get this airport modernised and made more passenger friendly.
Hi, did you notice any large suitcases as I can see Sun express have the following rule: One piece of baggage may not exceed the outer dimensions of 158 cm (length + width + height). If the respective size limits are exceeded, a flat fee of 45.00 € will be charged. This size is significantly lower than easyjet and ryanair so wondered if sunexpress are actually that strict at check in?
They didn't seem too strict when we travelled, but that's not to say they won't be in the future. FYI: my case was 35x55x22 = 112. for the case I carried on board
Antalya airport has consistently got more and more busy. The prices have also keep creeping up. We had little choice but to opt for a subway sandwich last year and for a family of 5 it was around €60. Even bottles of water were extortionate and I assume the air conditioning in the airport is off to make you buy more drinks. We flew sun express last year and booked again this year. We found the prices competitive, the flight was good and we like the flight times. The fact they include bags is also good. I hope they extend Antalya airport to manage the throughput of passengers
Flights appeared to be okay. Hope hol was good. I know Turkey airports are extortionate, but will remind myself to organise food before we return home from our upcoming holiday
We flew Sun Express Gatwick to Dalaman and I didn’t find them that great. Same issue trying to understand what the pilot was saying and the cabin crew didn’t care about making sure everyone had seatbelts on when landing back at Gatwick. Turkish airports seem more expensive than normal

I didn't like it either, hot and very pricey. Thanks for your comment

Wow, €60 for a sandwich for a family of 5? That's just too much. Good to know about Sun Express though. Thanks for watching!
Flew last week with them no problems at all...🎉
Yes, good airline!
Brilliant diversity for you Swinn. Thoroughly enjoyed and looking forward to the one you will no doubt produce for Turkey itself. 🥰
Thank you, Tony. A video on the small bit of Turkey we visited should be coming up soon
@@Swinn-FG Thank you Swinn. Look forward to watching.

Thanks for sharing your experience! It’s always helpful to hear feedback. Hopefully, your next flight will be a better one!
When I went turkey I was supposed to fly with tui but it got cancelled so we had to fly with sun express instead 😡😭
Also that noise was so annoying
It seems you got to Turkey in the end. I hope you had a pleasant time.
11:59 no it’s Turkish
I think definitely German :-) - I think!
@@Swinn-FG Yeah it sounds like German but I’m Turkish 😅😂
@@Swinn-FG by the way I really enjoyed this video Thanks 🙏🏼
