He is a unique combination of karma, jnana and bhakti !
I think it’s because the Gayatri mantra is considered unique , they believe one has to be given the upadesha which is called “brahmopadesha” and only then can an individual be entitled to perform the japa !
A japa mantra has to be performed in individual capacity and solitude as the fruit of the mantra is personal in nature! A japa mantra is therefore extremely personalised , it is usually given in the form of an upadesha by the guru and mantra is specific to the individual and therefore it follows that the sadhana (the method to reap benefits) from the mantra is personal! The purpose is for growth of the individual with the following steps : Focus -> Concentrate -> Understand -> Experience-> Realise.
Of course there is no tsunami that will happen if one recites it loudly , but to gain maximum benefits (of developing focus / concentration /understanding / experiencing and finally realisation) it is advised by the guru that the process be done in solitude ! Analogous to the study time of an individual where repeated revision with utmost focus and concentration leads to understanding , experiencing(being part) of the topic and then realising its crux / essence!
Meanwhile we have other mantras called Shanti mantras in the Vedas that need to be announced loudly in public for the welfare of everyone in all the 14 worlds !
Infact the suktas can also be recited in public and before the recitation of a sukta , it has to be preceded by recitation of the Shanti mantra of that particular veda (from which the sukta is taken) at the beginning !
Japa mantras are personal.
Suktas and shanthi mantras are universal .

Jai Sri Krishna Prabhu, Can the Hubble Space Telescope (which can presently detect celestial objects > 10 billion light-years away from us), detect this garbhodaka ocean which may be about 250,000,000 yojanas, or 2,000,000,000 miles (0.0003 light years) from Planet Earth? If you say NO, can you explain why this garbhodaka ocean which is just made of water or some matter in liquid state remains invisible to our scientific instruments ?
The Garbhodaka Ocean remains invisible to our material instruments because it does not exist. The story about Hiranyaksha is just a tale. It is not at true story. There is no ocean at the bottom of the universe. The people who invented the story knew nothing about the real universe. It is sad to see how easily people believe in old myths and fairy tales.

Srimad - Bhagawatam is not a reliable source of information. According to S-B the eclipses of the Sun and the Moon are caused by the attacks of a demon called Rahu and the Sun is closer to the Earth than the Moon. There are many other grave errors in S-B when it comes to astronomical information. According to S-B there is only one sun in the entire universe. Stars do not have a light of their own, they just reflect the light that comes from the Sun. Absolutely laughable ! The diameter of the universe is ( according to S-B ) only 6.4 billion kilometers. This would be a very small universe. The fact is that our solar system is bigger than the universe of S-B. One light year is much longer than 6.4 bilion kilometers. It is about 9460 billion kilometers. According to S-B the distance between the Earth and the Sun is only 1 280 000 kilometers. If the Sun was so close to the Earth there would not be human beings on Earth. In our time we can measure the distance between the Earth and the Sun. When the Sun is closest to the Earth the distance is 146 million kilometers and when it is furthest from the Earth the distance is 152 million kilometers.

Hare Krishna! Yes, our brahmand is one of countless gigantic and yet ENCLOSED systems (all brahmandas are suspended motionlessly in the Divine Light of the formless Aspect of God). Inside of our brahmand there are 14 PARALLEL, LEVEL (flat) realms of existence. Bhumandala, the disc of Mother Bhumi is the 8th level within our brahmand. Beneath Bhumandala (flat disc) there are 7 parallel demonic realms (something like floors in a building, demonic realms are like P levels in the building, underground floors). Above Bhumandala there are 6 parallel celestial realms. In the center of Bhumandala there is a golden Mount Meru (around Mount Meru there is a 7th celestial realm called Ilavart - khand) located on Jamboo Dvipa, the innermost concentric island out of 7 concentric islands located on Bhumandala. Each dvipa is surrounded by a concentric ocean of the same width. Our known Earth, Bharat-Khand is one of 9 habitable places on Jamboo Dvipa. Heliocentric (now called helical) model is a deception by masons, Jesuits and Catholic Church that played a double role in that horrific deception.

there are many level's of living beings even in this world, we see from the worm up to the most highest living beings, and maybe there is one person on this planet who is the best person, there is the strongest, there is the most beautiful, the most powerful, intelligent, then in the universe there may be this order of reality also, and maybe there is some entity who lives for longer than us, and maybe there is some entity who lives the longest in this universe? and maybe there is some one who lives the longest who is the strongest, most beautiful intelligent, famous, and renounced, after thinking like this we may realize that it is logical that their may be a person who is eternal, full of all qualities in absolute fullness with no limitations God?

There are lakes, oceans and flat land on Bhu-mandala. It is not a flat 'space' with balls floating on it.. It is continuous land of 4 billion miles. If you check the original Sanskrit, you can recognize those words that clearly shows us this reality. There should be no confusion about it. Just forget everything 'science' tells us. Fully take to Sukadeva Goswami's flat Earth descriptions of Bhu-mandala which we are a small part of like an island on water.
