Me and my Friend are also planning to visit Rishikesh and hire a scooter to roam around the surroundings like Kunjapuri temple and all the waterfalls and was wondering if the hill roads are safe to ride there and you went there on scooter? Did you switch off the engine and rode on downhill there? Need some tips, Regards, Kusum
Thank you. According to me the roads are a little unsafe as there were a few constructions going on and heavy vehicles move on the roads especially if you going outside the city like the vashisth gufa. Please make sure that the scooty is in good condition before you rent it. We had a bad experience with it. Ensure both riders wear helmets for a safe ride. Also i wnt recommend scooty for waterfalls. It would be better if you go walking. Hope this helped 😊

I believe you can turn it off in downward slopes. And yes it was a very scenic route 😊
