Multiple Cleaning Modes

I'll wait until the design is more evolved. It should at least be able to schedule, recharge itself, and send you a notification if it needs a water change.
So far, this is the best.. none of mopping robot has all that and clean well.. mopping is not the same as vacuuming.. imagine mopping today and the next day the dirty water tank become smelly.. that's why auto clean mopping robot with dirty tank is not actually practical
Actually I don't doubt ilife adding all those additional features but I think they wanted to keep the cost down on this thing. Just look at the new premium robot prices and you will understand. This coupled with a cheap vacuum robot like the irobot 692 is good enough.
I don't think it will evolve anytime soon. I have a mopping robot from 2006 with a lot of similar features.. except it's slightly better than this one - low profile and plastic brush bristles, no cloth at all. Over the past decade, the design of mopping robots seem to have regressed substantially i.e. cloth underneath. Nothing but glorified swiffer mops at this point.
Ha just returned this. It’s not smart enough. But it did work.

I keep wondering why everyone and their mom wants to put cloth under a mopping robot. I have a mopping robot from 2006 that is low profile, has dual tanks, and scrubs the floor as well but it uses plastic brush bristles.. easier to clean.
I also keep wondering why everyone and their mom wants to put a brush under a vaccum robot.. just so hair can get tangled up in it. *facepalm* My other robot is also an older robot that vacuums without that; it came out around 2016/2017. Sure it lacks a lot of fancy features like mapping or wifi capability, but it requires less effort to use/clean.
