Admire the passion and pride with which Neha spoke in this talk. Sports is indeed a profesdion which teaches many life lessons which academic excellence can't. Yet sports is seen as a mere distraction from academics in India. Unless India's education system gives sports as much importance as it does to academics, India will never realize its true potential in global sporting events. India has had and will continue to have talented sportspersons, but they are failed by the callous and incompetent bureaucracy n ministry which oversees this area. This is besides the factors like politicians who've never played the sport heading it's national body, which explains the rampant corruption, nepotism favoritism in the entire sports administration system in India.
