It’s not even about the price which is not worth 300.00. I’ve been a stylist for over 30 years and I need to understand why does anyone need to know how much you charge besides your clients or potential clients? It’s as if you take pride in overpriced services and you put on social media as if it’s okay. Don’t get me wrong if someone is willing to pay 300.00 for a 100.00 service or even less it’s on them. People I understand you need services from stylists but understand you’re being overcharged, the outcome of her hair doesn’t add up to 300.00 people. It’s a 100.00 service all day. The sooner you stop letting stylists screw you the sooner they’ll come down on their prices, believe me!

I went to cosmetology school right after I graduated high school in 1981, and obtained the teaching licensure shortly afterwards. Not much has changed in the process and styling except changing the names of styling and the over inflated prices of basic at best services.
I'd pay her $300. She spends time/takes pride in her work/and like her work! Something you don't find often with stylist today! She handles her busy! I can feel her in my head right now! 🤜🏽🤛🏽

I charge 125.00 for a relaxer, cut, deep conditioner, so you don’t know what you’re talking about. No hate but that again was maximum an 75.00 to 100.00 job. I WAS LISTENING TO SOME STYLIST A WEEK AGO ON TH-cam. THEY WERE SAYING A LOT OF THEM HAVE WENT BACK TO WORKING A 9-5 BECAUSE OF NATURAL HAIR, NASTY ATTITUDES AND OVER PRICING.
The style was nice. It took a little long to get there. Comb out b4 wash great. Comb thru w/ conditioner & leave in great. Comb thru shampoo, when necessary. May benefit from dryer b4 blow drying. Customer hair seemed fine to medium texture. Less manipulation. Your passing the hair multiple times blowing, silk press, cutting. The heat from your hands way on the hair. Time is everything, for you and the customer. You can definitely do hair. We all can improve. Just some suggestions. Oh, the price. A little steep. The lady didn’t even receive a color. Something to think about. Hope it helps.

$300 😮 I went online and bought the Tymo volumizer blowdryer for $30, Tymo Ring Plus straightening comb for $42, Tymo Ionic brush for $30, Tymo Ionic Plus brush for $42, Tymo Airflow flat iron and curlers 2n1 for $64, and a 450 degree electric curved for edges hot comb at the local beauty supply store for $25. Best part is I can use these products multiple times and they came with a warranty unlike these expensive silk press. last week I did my own silk press for the first time and it surprisingly lasted 10 days. Wish I could upload a pic.

The client was extremely happy! Her hair was in a sew in and had plenty of glue and had lots of breakage. I think her hair looks beautiful! 🤩 The style may not be for everyone; however, not everyone likes the extra. I think it is a classic style finished beautifully.

The client was extremely happy! Her hair was in a sew in and had plenty of glue and had lots of breakage. I think her hair looks beautiful! 🤩 The style may not be for everyone; however, not everyone likes the extra. I think it is a classic style finished beautifully.
