To Be honest, Red Joker was the VERY FIRST Megaman StarForce game, and also the first megaman game PERIOD I played; THIS is what got me into Megaman in 2010.

Personally I like how Geo grows from a whining brat in the first games (okay, he has reasons, but still it is grating) to a true hero in the third. In the second game he still wavers a bit (I wanted to hit him, hard, when he doubted Sonia), but in the third game he just kept going until he defeated everyone of his enemies. In comparison, Lan was always "Let's go to an adventure!". A fine way of live, true, but not that compelling as a story.

MMSF R about 5 years after the events of megaman starforce 3 geo and co are now graduating to highschool, Sonia has become a world famous idol and is on tour. It has been relatively peaceful the last few years but an incident is about to strike, NAZA is attacked by an unknown entity and this awakens an experiment that has yet to be completed it escapes into the wave roads and ends up in a distant country. A boy a bit timid in nature finds his Hunter-3VG acting up in the middle of the night, he calls out to his wizard to check if it's ok but instead a blue and green creature pops out instead, it kinda looks like Mega but a bit lankier and with blue and white armor. The boy is startled because his wizard is nowhere to be seen, the wave being explains that he may have accidentally eaten his wizard. After some talking they agree that this new being will replace his wizard. The next day the boy and his new wizard now bestoyed with the name Rush go to school, here you meet your classmates and teacher. Later in the day everyone notices the elevator is acting out and see that viruses are attacking the cyber core. The boy's (Ken Hoshikari) friends are stuck and the viruses are about to make the elevator fall down and hard, Ken wants to do something but feels helpless, Rush tries to understand the situation and when he does he begins to resonate with Ken and they wavechange into Megaman R. They save the day and everyone keeps mistaking them for the original, Geo during this is trying to help out NAZA figure out what's going on. Far away an asteroid is approaching Earth and on Earth cases of people acting out due to corrupt data cards are growing. It's up to Megaman R to find out the mystery of Rush and discover his own power to hopefully stop the next threat the Earth may face. Rush being incomplete actually allows him to build power out of those he fights and builds bonds with, this power is directly linked to Ken's bonds as well. Rush can use the SoulRush to resonate with bonds he and Ken have made to gain access to more abilites and weapons which is done so by equipping them to folders then selecting them in battle, as you use a SR your resonance with it can go up withit midbattle allowing you to boost it's power by then using TripleRush and crossing two SRs. There are two versions but all SRs are available throughout the only difference is who you end up fighting and a few cards exclusice to either
I heard this song a lot when grinding ClubStrong R. I don't exactly remember why I was grinding him, but I had such a strong deck and tactic that I killed him in around 6 seconds, not even joking. I had the cartridge to prove it

This game beats all the BN and SF 1 and 2, it has the most epic battles of all mega man games, You should try out Siruis Sigma, Apollo Sigma, Rogue ZZ, and Crimson Dragon Sigma, they are fun to battle
@DjangoZeroX I myself love this game, but I am currently stuck at the part where you have to find the four key parts scattered by Joker. Someday I'll get back at finding the fourth part I haven't found yet. And getting back to this game will be worth it to see Joker laugh hysterically when I finally get to kick his ass! Seriously, MMSF3 is a very underrated game and one of the best DS games I've ever played. It's hard to see why people think MMBN is better(not that MMBN is bad).
I think that MMBN is better. I still like Starforce though. If you want my reasoning, here it is: 1: MMBN's combat takes place in a 3x3 (or larger) area instead of a 3x1 one. It allows the enemies to have more varied abilities and makes combat overall more fun. 2. The story in SF can be a little corny. Yes, Lan and Co. could be annoying sometimes (especially in 4) but in general I prefer MMBN's story of SF. 3. I like MMBN's music better (obviously this is opinionated, but many feel this way)
SF objectively has the better story as it handles depressing issues like death, relationships, the flawed educational system, and abortion. The characters are also better since they're more relatable and have some amazing character development. The battling system is more of a preference just like the music one. It's still the same battling methods. The only difference is that it's in 3x1 and not 3x3. And for music? I prefer Starforce bass beats and the constant beat drops tbh.
@DjangoZeroX If you want my opinion, I don't think any of the MMBN or the previous two MMSF games are better or worse than MMSF3, but that may be because MMSF3 is the only one of this version of Mega Man that I've played. I have also played the Mega Man Zero series, the X series, and the original. I've beaten Zero 1-4 and MM3 and MM10, but the X series is so hard, it makes original Mega Man look like cake. But I am ever persistent. Someday I'll beat the other games I have.
Dread Joker has 3 attacks that are unavoidable regardless of whether you're blocking or not. He also has superarmor, and a lot of health. Definitely a bruh boss.
yeah, Dread Joker RR is so much easier, he got me the silver star for him, I remember getting pwned by him the first time and then when I got Crown form (Black Ace version) I went against him and pulverized him I kept dodging and countering using the NFB :P and pwned him. That was one of my best days ever and beating Siruis and all the Sigma bosses :P
Didn't really like this theme compared to SF1's and SF2's honestly. It felt like you are a spy facing some organization, but Geo and Omega-Xis aren't freaking spies but superheroes. So it didn't really seem fitting compared to SF1's boss theme and SF2's boss theme.

Depends on what you prefer: 2 felt like it was like a pump up entrance theme for Mega Man 3 felt like it was like a pump up entrance theme for the boss you were fighting. Since technically the big deal is you fighting the boss in a boss fight (and I really felt this theme against Sirius), I personally prefer 3 but both are great.
I do agree that Battle Network is a great series, but it just doesn't spark my interest enough to actually want one of the games. I prefer the Classic and X series, anyway. And I also have a fondness of the Zero series, too.

You would have to have Cyber Elf X somehow have crossed through alternate universes and somehow also become an EM Wave Being in the process.

This game beats all the BN and SF 1 and 2, it has the most epic battles of all mega man games, You should try out Siruis Sigma, Apollo Sigma, Rogue ZZ, and Crimson Dragon Sigma, they are fun to battle

@DjangoZeroX I myself love this game, but I am currently stuck at the part where you have to find the four key parts scattered by Joker. Someday I'll get back at finding the fourth part I haven't found yet. And getting back to this game will be worth it to see Joker laugh hysterically when I finally get to kick his ass!
Seriously, MMSF3 is a very underrated game and one of the best DS games I've ever played. It's hard to see why people think MMBN is better(not that MMBN is bad).

I think that MMBN is better. I still like Starforce though. If you want my reasoning, here it is:
1: MMBN's combat takes place in a 3x3 (or larger) area instead of a 3x1 one. It allows the enemies to have more varied abilities and makes combat overall more fun.
2. The story in SF can be a little corny. Yes, Lan and Co. could be annoying sometimes (especially in 4) but in general I prefer MMBN's story of SF.
3. I like MMBN's music better (obviously this is opinionated, but many feel this way)
LOL, if there is something that i like in star force better than in battle network is the story, but yeah, that's ok
SF objectively has the better story as it handles depressing issues like death, relationships, the flawed educational system, and abortion. The characters are also better since they're more relatable and have some amazing character development.
The battling system is more of a preference just like the music one. It's still the same battling methods. The only difference is that it's in 3x1 and not 3x3.
And for music? I prefer Starforce bass beats and the constant beat drops tbh.
@DjangoZeroX If you want my opinion, I don't think any of the MMBN or the previous two MMSF games are better or worse than MMSF3, but that may be because MMSF3 is the only one of this version of Mega Man that I've played. I have also played the Mega Man Zero series, the X series, and the original. I've beaten Zero 1-4 and MM3 and MM10, but the X series is so hard, it makes original Mega Man look like cake. But I am ever persistent. Someday I'll beat the other games I have.
Dread Joker has 3 attacks that are unavoidable regardless of whether you're blocking or not. He also has superarmor, and a lot of health.

yeah, Dread Joker RR is so much easier, he got me the silver star for him, I remember getting pwned by him the first time and then when I got Crown form (Black Ace version) I went against him and pulverized him I kept dodging and countering using the NFB :P and pwned him. That was one of my best days ever and beating Siruis and all the Sigma bosses :P

Didn't really like this theme compared to SF1's and SF2's honestly.
It felt like you are a spy facing some organization, but Geo and Omega-Xis aren't freaking spies but superheroes. So it didn't really seem fitting compared to SF1's boss theme and SF2's boss theme.
Oddly enough geo was supposed to be some sort of hacker in the 4 before it was scrapped.

This was a real step down from the epicness of SF2's boss theme. I mean, it's still good, but lacked a lot of the bad ass ambience that SF2 had

Both have different feelings to them, and given their respective games I feel both are great. 2 was like "We got this, but we better be careful". 3 is "Oh god, everything is spiraling out of control! Quick, kill it!".

2 felt like it was like a pump up entrance theme for Mega Man
3 felt like it was like a pump up entrance theme for the boss you were fighting. Since technically the big deal is you fighting the boss in a boss fight (and I really felt this theme against Sirius), I personally prefer 3 but both are great.

Easily my least favorite Boss Theme from the entire SF series.
I do agree that Battle Network is a great series, but it just doesn't spark my interest enough to actually want one of the games. I prefer the Classic and X series, anyway. And I also have a fondness of the Zero series, too.
I think MMSF3 battle songs were the worst of the entire series (except for the last boss one)...
