In this regard I would like to share my experiences. My Date of birth is 26.08.1982, time 6.48 AM, at Howrah, West Bengal, India. I am an Electrical Engineer(BE) having 9.5 years of experience and unmarried. I have ketu in fifth house in my janma lagna kundli as well as in bhava chart.
My Ketu Maha Dasha has started on 21.05.2016 and at the very first day I lost my job and did not manage a new one till date and spending my accumulated wealth for living. I was very much depressed and spent many sleepless nights with only tears in my eyes and thought there is nothing to live, why god did this with me.
But suddenly I found your video and get much relief from depression. Now I am wearing Lord Ganesha pendent, trying to look at the spiritual side. And reading the Holy Book Srimad Bhagavad-Gita which gives me mental peace and believe in PARAMATMA, The supreme Soul. Today I don't know whether I can manage any job or not but I will keep trying and believe that PARAMATMA shall drive me in to the path of truth.

@@AvonneHeavenly Ketu is opposite of marriage. Marriage is Rahu. Ketu is separation. Moksha. All opposite of marriage and attachment. When you do opposite things there is so much friction. You have to go with the flow.

I am running thru ketu dasha since 2011, I just found out about it suddenly because I suddenly renounced western astrology which i studied for about two years. Now Im studying vedic astrology. Ofcourse I have to study astrology on my own because there is no astrology school or professionals here. I have realized a bit late but what I have done since 2011 was getting to understand astrology, which began with western astrology. E K Dhilip Kumar sir. Thanks for sharing your amazing knowledge about Ketu mahadasha. I would like to share this experience of my brother-in-law who had been through this ketu dasha. And this person is no more, he passed away on march, 2018. He really had very bad time during this mahadasha. Horrible married life - there was no compatibility between husband and wife, she was never happy with him though he tried to fulfil all her needs with the little money he had. Quarrels, ego clashes, abuses and what not. Employment issues - he couldn't stick to one job. My father-in-law with lot of struggle got him a contractor license, but he could do well in his business. He had to struggle much to afford his son's admissions. Financial he never came up and my father-in-law would support him to look after his kid and wife. My brother-in-law was a spiritual person, he never missed to do pooja of our family deity and always visited temples around. In my in-laws family there is always concept of Wearing Maani- the eldest of the family belongs to god and if wants he can sacrifice family and materialistic world and become sanyasi. And during this dasha he lived a life of sanyasi. It is a lesson learnt for all of us that nothing matters in this world. We struggle for money, success, love and what not, but at the end we take nothing we us. I thank you for explaining this dasha so well.
How did he pass away? That is sad to hear. I can completely understand what he went through.

Ketu dasha is for 7 years. It has greater impact.
Ketu bhukti happens once in each of the 9 mahadashas. They are not the same.

That will be very easy for me as I do not drink alcohol. I completely agree that the best remedy of our century is to not drink! I have also been meditating since I was 4 years old. I am a Ketu Leo Ascendent my Ketu dasha to begin in March 2021. Now only i m feeling suicidcal.
Still 3 years to go, lost my both parents. And now in Guru antardasha in Kethu Mahadasha, so much painful things happened like loss of my both parents (father in Ketu mahadasha and ketu antardasha like in just a month ketu mahadasha started and my mother in Rahu antardasha recently in February 2023) 😢😢. Still waiting to face the things that need to happen in remaining and last part of Kethu Mahadasha....Nothing in my mind now except one thing praying Lord Shiva to give me the power to face the remaining part of this Dasha...Started with Shani Mahadasha and now in Ketu now I'm 32 all my life went up and down like roller-coaster till now...Still waiting calmly for my good time and good things will come in my life...don't know when it will happen but keeping my faith on Lord Shiva that he will definitely going to change the situations....😢

Wow, you really had bad time. Your Ketu is in 12th house. It needed you to be alone. You got into marriage and family. So it was trying to isolate you by sending you to jail and by making you go through divorce. This happens. In every antardasha of Ketu, I see that through one or the other reason, I stay alone for few months away from my parents and wife/kid. Events always turn out to be in that manner.

sir I am going through ketu dasha from 2013. life is living hell. in Ketu dasha guru antardasha I was hospitalized due to pneumonia and just came out of jaws of death. my health is still suffering. many accusations from my in-laws. I have lost all attachments to everybody in the family because of their behavior towards me. I feel I have to do just my duty. I get dreams of dog pulling my leg or chasing me. I feed street dogs, feed birds, cow everyday. chanted ketu mantra 7000 times every year. my prayers are not being heard by god. earlier whatever I prayed used to happen very quickly. my health is still not improving. I have begun to take pleasure and pain on the same footing. Sometimes for no reason people scold me. My ketu is in 10th house in the sign of cancer. Ending ketu dasha on 30-6-2020.

I turned to God shiv about 2 yrs not fot me but as my daughter was going through,all what you say is true i am trying to create problems with my husband . but now that I know I can be aware. isnt this amazing the science of nakshashtra.
The magic remedy is to worship Lord Ganesha with white flowers and mantras of Ganesha. Also wear a pendant of Lord Ganesha all the time. Remain calm and patient. Patience is the greatest virtue.

Thank you for the feedback and comments. Such feedback will boost the belief that remedies work all the time. However the right kind of remedies especially the do it yourself kind is the best. People think that we get relief only by prayers. It should be a combination of prayers with charity and social service. Keep up the good work. Join a voluntary in a Rotary Club or Lions Club to do more service.

E K Dhilip Kumar Initially its all about letting go of materialistic things, bringing the ego down, if not ketu does it in his own way, in my case (affecting my health to a GREAT extent ) which automatically made me to look for help towards Almighty so this diverted my mind towards spirituality from the chaotic reality.

I just finished Ketu dasha yesterday which was Jan 25 2014...phew! It was brutal. I have Ketu in the 8th house. Now I'm in Venus dasha and I have it in the 7th house :) I'm still around. I actually had a Vedic chart done in 1987 by my sister, but I only looked closely at in Dec 2013 last year!

Dear sir, whatever you told is true. I am passing through my initial years of Ketu dasa. Completed Ketu bukthi and Venus bukthi is about to get completed. I am finished in my life. I lost my job and my family is separated. I don't have any support from anyone so just going through the motions of Ketu dasa. Just wondering what else will go bad in this period. I am continuously visiting temples. Mind you I was averse to God prior to this because I had a very troubled married life so I never visited temples after my marriage. But once my Ketu dasa started, I immediately got separated from my family and the fight with my wife is never ending, and now I and my wife hardly speak and even if we speak, we start fighting right away. I lost my job a few months after I got separated from my family. Now I am in no man's land, not sure which direction should I head towards and how will I encounter the remaining period of Ketu dasa. Praying to Almighty God and I am going for lots of pilgrimages these days.

Don't be depressed. Just understand what ketu wants. Sooner you understand and follow the spiritual path better will be the results in materialistic world. Visit temples especially temples which are very old and worship from heart. Visit temples which some people know at far away places at distant places and sometimes hidden places. There are many temples in India which have strong connection to religion and spritualism but they are very less famous. Always eat on ground, try to also sleep on ground that is try to live a Sanyasi life as much as you can like sleeping on ground eating one time etc whatever you can. Read astrology and other hidden things. Reading hidden things of past and gaining occult knowledge is good and will make you positive. Stay away from immoral acts and things.
Whatever is happening don't think about what happened I am telling you you will remember this time whole life as your true learning time of yourself and the whole world. You will discover what very less people get chance to discover. You will discover true your self. At the end you will become pure from heart and all previous sins will vanish away.

My parents had Saturn, Mercury and Ketu Mahadashas in their 30 to 60 age. When I checked their details, I was shocked on why we lived in one or the other misery throughout my childhood until now that they are over 55. Misery as in hardships to overcome all the time.
