Super Monaco GP | Comet Challenge - The Worst of Nightmares

- First of all, this video is dedicated to a subscriber who requested this challenge from me, so...thanks @Patrik Weibull ! To the others, always feel free to request some type of video that I will be making as far as possible.
It's worth making some considerations, I had to start this challenge over several times, it's really very difficult to deal with this car and as I'm a little short on time, you'll notice that it's not one of my best gameplays and there are even better ones out there, but on the other hand, I managed to meet the objective and although I never explained it, I always challenge other drivers so that everyone in general becomes more "difficult".
Talking about the car itself, I had to abandon the 4-speed gearbox and go for 7-speed gearbox, it was a little more "competitive" in that way. I even managed to arrive "alive" to compete in Monaco with 4-speed gearbox, but it wasn't possible. In my humble opinion, this car is worse than Zeroforce and Orchis by far, it doesn't have good handling, it doesn't enter corners well, it doesn't stay in the corner (sliding a lot), the transmission, engine and tire "cry" during races and sometimes it is necessary to make a pit stop to repair and change tires, something that with Zeroforce and Orchis was possible to manage. Without a doubt, this is the worst car in the game.
To get started with Comet I had to use the emulator feature that I use (there's a video on how to install it here on the channel), this is just a code to start with Comet via Game Genie/PAR, there is no modification to the ROM, no cheating, no hacks, just starting the same championship with Comet.

I'm sorry, but that performance at the Portuguese GP was totally embarrassing. The guy from Zeroforce must have laughed his ass off and went to a nightclub to celebrate.
It was worse than embarrassing, it was a joke! This car really falls apart over time...
@@AlternativeFrame_ Apart from that one and some other hard tracks (Brazil, Japan, Monaco), you did good and had your share of good moments with nice manoeuvres (ex: escaping 3/4 drivers suddenly appearing in front with short time to react) and won the Championship that was the main goal at the start. And thanks for bringing this game so others can see what a gem it is. I love it so it was a "blast from the past" seeing it again.

Adorei! Uma questão; como fica a storyline do Ceará com esse action replay code? Na segunda temporada, ele faz desafio na mesma? Vejo que ele está pilotando o Minarae, portanto acredito que afete o processamento.

Fique sempre a vontade pra perguntar, neste caso eu expliquei isso melhor na descrição do vídeo, é uma condição que encontrei para poder fazer o vídeo, porque do contrário eu teria que gravar o vídeo, desafiar o Comet (E. Tornio) e esperar o campeonato acabar, o que tornaria o vídeo muito longo. Antigamente o TH-cam disponibilizava uma linha do tempo em capítulos, porém eles removeram essa função de canais menores e isso afetou meus vídeos...mas no futuro espero ter essa função novamente.
@@AlternativeFrame_ entendi! Mas a minha questão era meio diferente. O que acontece aqui depois de você ser campeão no Comet com o action replay? Vai pra Madonna, e o Ceará vai pra Bullets como normal, e vem o desafio? Ou essa "plot line" fica afetada pelo action replay?
@@joaopires1761 Desculpe a confusão, li uma coisa e entendi outra, e desculpe também a demora...o TH-cam só notifica quando é o primeiro comentário, vou me atentar a isso. Respondendo sua pergunta, quando fiz o vídeo com Orchis eu experimentei continuar e nada de extraordinário aconteceu, Ceara não me desafiou com Bullets, ele estava em outro carro e me desafiou, porém sem o super poder de velocidade inicial e o jogo seguiu normalmente. Porém me atentando a sua pergunta eu fiz algo diferente, eu comecei com Firenze e fui campeão com ele, depois disso algo bizarro aconteceu, eu até tive essa experiência uma vez, mas não da forma que aconteceu, sim dá pra dizer que é uma nova história. Eu vou transformar isso em vídeo e você verá, muito obrigado por sua participação!

@@joaopires1761 Grande João! Testei mais vezes isso e percebi que era um bug, sua pergunta realmente me fez explorar mais e entender as razões dos acontecimentos. Mas pra não deixá-lo curioso acho justo te contar, eu selecionei o Firenze via Game Genie/PAR e fui campeão da temporada... quando começa o ano seguinte, eu permaneço no Firenze com Ceara já no Madonna e Bullets (Asselin) me desafia, assim como geralmente acontece. Durante a corrida, ele tem um desempenho normal, mas se você deixar ele passar ele instantaneamente pula 15 segundos a sua frente (basicamente ele se teleporta pra outro ponto da pista). Toda vez que você chega perto dele, ele novamente pula 15 segundos... eu fiz o teste no Brasil e aconteceu de novo, e com isso, perdi o desafio. Dardan se oferece, mas por alguma razão eu fico no Firenze (eu acho que o Game Genie "força" você a ficar no carro que escolheu). Com isso acontece um bug, aparecem dois "Ceara" no jogo, um já no Madonna e o outro no Dardan. Concluindo, eu entendi que em parte isso é um bug, mas a parte do Asselin (no Bullets) pode ser que exista em algum momento da história (se eu não me engano isso já me aconteceu, eu tenho um palpite que isso acontece na terceira temporada), de qualquer forma eu vou continuar explorando isso e assim que eu conseguir eu conto essa história em algum vídeo.

@@paulbarrett5791 Haha, well, this is still about racing and I can't let the AIs gain ground, because otherwise they'll take the best part of the track and block me too. In the end, everything stays the same, with the exception that they have better cars than mine. 😅

@@jordanbandeira9837 Das vezes que joguei com essa equipe consegui ir um pouco melhor, mais particularmente eu gosto mais das equipes da Classe D kkkkkkkkkk
@@AlternativeFrame_ não sei se já fez isso, mais eu gostava de trocar os pilotos de equipe fazendo por exemplo o Tornio ir para a firenze e ver se ele pontua, se vc for ver poucos pilotos vão desenvolver bem em equipes melhores
