Chris' Dad is such a complex character, and that little living room talk just fleshed him out further and showed true love for his son, despite his visible flaws seen otherwise.
Love the connections between CS and Rules! It's so cool that at the same moment you're playing as Chris, Sean and Daniel are just a few meters away, and vice versa :) and now we also know what happens the next day... (in my case, heartbreak, oof)
@@sonyviva308 That's so true! One of the reasons why is that they really know how to build up the feeling of foreboding/tension during the episodes. Plus, sometimes you are confronted with only bad choices or outcomes. Sometimes these bad outcomes are really due to your own fault (earlier decisions, which may have been clever to make at that point in time but now come back around to haunt you, causing heartbreak) but more often than not there is not so much you can do about it (although usually there is bad, worse, and worst haha). In season 2, especially episode 3 (but also episode 2) gave me that feeling. It did left me feeling a bit powerless/frustrated at times (since you can only influence what you are given and what happens during an episode, not during the timeskips), but yeah, that's also part of LIS I guess. In any case, it leaves you behind with stuff to think about (and feel sorry for/cry over), and that's why I (still) love these games so much!❤
Yeah Lis2 really do want you to play CS! Previously I left CS midway in game and I loaded LiS2 Ep2 it says "you haven't finished Cs yet! Would you like to finish CS now?"
Thank you for finding out about this video! I think this one has been flying really low on the radar since it didn't get any attention :/ But yes I love finding out about things like this in games.
I'm not sure as I only own the Remastered version and its not the same as the original in 2017. I didn't really see anything interesting much. But I'll check it out

Guess I'll need to reinstall and replay CS before finally getting around to playing LiS2 if it actually does a check for that.
