- Shaun Proulx meets with the Season 4 eliminated queens the day after their elimination. This week: The Girlfriend Experience on being on edge during shooting; what she meant when she said she and her drag persona were the same thing; what she thinks of people who object to trans and cis women participating in drag races - and the social media site that continues to make her life a pain in the ass.
When The Girlfriend Experience (one of the greatest drag names ever) walked into the werkroom - I was instantly in love. Such a powerful presence. I was so disappointed when she almost immediately started to withdraw, and I’m glad she’s self aware and knew it. But almost in a way couldn’t stop that default setting from sabotaging her when you’re in a situation where you’re forced to either deal with it or be dealt with by it. It was heartbreaking to see.
She’s SO well-spoken. I can relate a lot to the lens through which she sees the world, and through the struggles finding a place to fit in it when you feel exposed. This was an excellent interview.
Definitely wanting TGE on an all stars in the future.
Thank you for this in depth interview with the Girlfriend! I was also feeling like she had been intense and emotionally closed while on the show and i appreciate this opportunity to get into her mind and get to know her better

I cannot accept that "people will post about it" no matter what, therefore I have to restrict my life by not using social media and TH-cam which I use for other purposes too, just in case something like this pops up, because someone didn't bother to simply use a spoiler alert. That's retarded and entitled. It's a tough world, and little things like an episode from our favourite TV show or some scrolling on social media in order to unwind after work are very valued. If it takes as little as a spoiler alert in order to avoid ruining someone's little pleasures, then let's do it.

It’s so disrespectful to show the Drag Race fans to spoil the episode and show the eliminated person in your tile.
Personally, I just worked night and day for the past 4 days in Sydney’s (I work as an artist in clubs and bars). I just played 4 gigs in the past day & only 2.5 hours sleep.
I was SO looking forward to watching the new episode of Canada’s Drag Race and relax.
I turn on my TV (left on TH-cam), and your video pops up in my algorithm with the eliminated queen.
People in this industry work on weekends. They watch Drag Race afterwards.
I can’t even express how disappointed I am now.

The only person you should be disappointed with is yourself for not setting your youtube preferences to avoid spoilers, you can make a subaccount with different contents appearing in like 10 minutes and make it your deafault to avoid the spoilers, you can avoid going on youtube and social media platforms until you watch the episode, theres so many ways this could be avoided it literally blows my mind when people cry about spoilers, the world doesn't revolve around you, it's no youtuber's job to protect people from spoilers

Let this be a lesson. There are tons of ways to avoid spoilers on any platform, go ahead and google how to do it on TH-cam. I guess you’re just as mature as the TEENS “cancelling” people over unimportant things like reality TV… At your big age 🤭
