@@onefodderunit Except if you watch any of the videos Star is in, he's always being funny. Hitting himself instead of his drums, striking goofy, hilarious poses, stuff like that. Go watch the Silver Award reveal video he did. Every time I watch it & see him hold up the packaging foam like it's a prize I can't stop laughing. When he drops it you can tell just from the way he reacts that he's trying to be funny. The whole video is funny, but those parts are just great.

Interesting point. I was just thinking today after seeing the slipknot video (where even the eyes of the costume are covered) that he must be drumming purely from muscle memory
he probably sees through the mouth of the costume since thats roughly at eye height, but the vision HAS to be terrible. but this dude is so skilled hes probably playing off muscle memory either way.
Remember once you practice a song hard enough you can easily play it off the muscle memory. We often have blindfold drumming challenges with the other drummers. It's pretty fun. Like I can play some of the tool songs, Slayer, Slipknot etc blindfolded. Its all about experience and training. Many times in concert we just sit in a dark corner so we don't exactly know where each and every drum is so we just rely on our muscle memory thus it takes a good amount of time to set up the drums perfectly for that.
The fact that his arms look sooo short when raising them and stuff makes it 10x funnier.
