I appreciate the personal touch. I have been on the fence. I feel as if the job will jus consume me and as you said, I wont have a life. That concerns me, but then again, I haven't had much of one anyways when I look back in retrospect.

So I got my fingerprints and asked them if I need to check my email for anything and they said yeah. I then receive an email several days later saying that my offer was rescinded for the PSE Window Clerk Position because I failed to submit the SF85 request. I also had my offer rescinded for the carrier assistant position because of a failure to submit the NACI information which I’m pretty sure that I already completed online. All I remember is the GIS webpage which I had already filled out. I’m really distraught, did I miss something in my email or did they just find fault with me? I had a 96 on the PSE and an 81 on the Carrier online exams. No criminal record, high school diploma, associates degree, and trade certificate. And no at fault accidents, and an above 770 credit score. Also, even though I never got tested, I don’t do/sell drugs, don’t drink alcohol 🍺, I’m registered with the selective service, clean driving record, etc. What did I do wrong? I was so embarrassed because I told some close family that I was practically in there and then this happened… Also, I’m a 2nd generation Jamaican American 🇯🇲 🇯🇲

I can’t help but feel envious of this. I’ve been a PSE for a year and 9 months and my pay is still only $19.60 an hour with no benefits, no vacation, no holidays off, no retirement, no COLAs… nothing.. although thanks to the new contracts I’ll be converting January next year, I’m still mad that I could have been hired on as a PTF elsewhere and could have been making more money with all the benefits of being career sooner… anyways, thank you for sharing this even though it has me a bit upset at my situation.

Took my 477 exam today for PSE and got a 96. Position just opened up. Hoping I get in soon. Maybe before Christmas this year. 😊 Thanks for the video.

Something about union contracts, and getting compensation from annual/sick/holiday pay
