Thats wonderful he's One of the best. Music that still shows emotion. Not like all the synthesized "music" from todays generation. Real artists can play by heart with real Instruments. Really an awesome piece. :-)
Backhaus playing Mendelssohn is a cosmic joke. So glad the Universe has a sense of humor!!! Meanwhile, I love Backhaus (check out his early recording of the Chopin Etudes!).
