In the Air Cadets, Cadets are able to fly the Grob G115E. Now being retired this video is an insight into what current cadets and future cadets can look forward to, Including Aerobatics, and experience whilst this aircraft is in service before the newer 5-Prop turboprop Grobs enter service!. RAF Woodvale is located in north-west england near Southport. The flights take place usually over the coast and possibly over Warton, Home of the Eurofighter Typhoon!

I’m in the Air Cadets and am flying a Grob Tutor on Saturday. Looking forward to it but I hope I’m not doing aerobatics. 🤢
Im flying in the grob soon, im so scared but also excited
I remember my first Grin flight -i was freaking out due to my ears popping, even though I've been gliding before!
Great fun. Well done. It's always a great day out, taking Cadets flying. I have flown from Benson with 6 AEF. Loved every minute of it.😊
Thanks for posting. Trip down memory lane. Flew some AEFs out of Woodvale in the 80s. Chipmunks in my day. And before mobile phones existed so no chance of filming it 😂😂

Gotta love flying, favourite thing in the world especially when you pull a stall with the nose up and recover, you ain’t a man if you haven’t done that because you literally are in 0 gravity with the seatbelt holding you down.
I'm from 1248 sqn and I'm going flying for the first time, we're flying from RAF Leeming

What did you use to record this and what devices are allowed to record AEF flights?
Radek Zien your not allowed to have objects with you in the plane, like phones and watches.
It varies, instructor dependent, though generally speaking from what I've encountered you should be allowed to at least snap a couple of photos with your phone, hope that helps. :)
@@jasonharris1001 You are allowed phones.
Iam in 54 squadron and iam flying this Saturday I just wanted a little taster. do you have to salute the pilot?
no... the chances are you will only see the pilot whilst flying
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Do they let u take off/ land the plane. And when can u get ur qualifications?
If you're a cadet ...
Of course not
151 Leominster squadron anyone?
In Russian the word "grob" means "a coffin". I'm not superstitious but I would avoid flying an aircraft with such a name
