Good vid! You should do some more ones that cover specific flash-in-the-pan teams that history kinda forgot (1963 Bears, 1979 Bucs, etc). And maybe even one on the Namath years to fill out the Jets content
@@RolfWrenWalsh Reading about the 98 Cardinals reminded me a lot about the 22 Phillies; both teams ended long playoff droughts and like you the 22 Phillies made me fall in love with baseball.
Yeah Jake Plummer despite being mediocre in Denver he did have his best season in 2005 when he and the Broncos made it to the AFC Championship. On Top of being 3-0 against Tom Brady as a Starting QB.
@@hmuniz002 TYSM, I decided to try and do commentary videos for the first time recently and seeing the success at the start is making me so happy. I didn’t expect them to reach TH-cam’s recommended page this fast. Once again thank you for watching the video; you made my day.
Very Good Vid. I've never made videos, but I'm very impressed by this. In 1996 there was a movie called Jerry Maguire. Jerry's client works for a Arizona wide receiver. The Arizona Cardinals-Dallas Cowboys game at the end of this movie was actually an ABC Monday Night Football game played on Monday, December 25, 1995. In this movie, the Cardinals won; in real life, the Cowboys won 37-13. It was announced in the movie, that the Cowboys had clinched the NFC #1 spot before the game. It's interesting that in 1998, Arizona does defeat the Cowboys in the playoffs. Rod Tidwell, played by Cuba Gooding Jr, may be inspired by Bill Bidwell, the owner of the team for 45 years, who oversaw the team's move from St. Louis to Arizona. He is thanked in the credits.
@@johnburns9634 That’s a cool fact I never knew that; and thank you so much for the compliment. As for the 1998 team something was magical about that Cardinals team; every player they signed the Cards fell their way. Three game winning field goals by Chris Jackie to get into the playoffs on top of Jake Plummer successfully leading multiple game winning drives late in games.

The 2007 Browns would make for a interesting vid. Despite not making the playoffs, they still won 10 games and had a top 10 offense with Derek Anderson as their starting qb.
@@charlesiofaustria7361 That’s one team I thought of doing for this video and I may still do one later down the line but the 98 Cardinals are usually not brought up much if at all despite winning a playoff game.
@@TheColtonStreeter The Cardinals funny enough in 2008 made the SB but lost to the Steelers and than made the divisional round in 2009 with Kurt Warner. 2008 was the first time they made the playoffs since 1998.

Watching them stomp out the remnants of that 90s Cowboys dynasty was glorious.

Thank you so much for the support; I plan on that being the case. I’m working on one more major project and than will begin these smaller projects.
I became a lifelong, diehard Cardinals fan to this day because of this season.
