    2:32 is quite hilarious... Kyrgios: "I'll touch it lightly, no need to smash... it'll look more humiliating for him"

  • @mackemforever
    @mackemforever 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +52

    2:30 - Nicks career summed up in one rally. In complete control but intead of just playing a proper smash and giving his opponent no chance, as every single other pro would do, he does some stupid shit and loses the point.
    Without a doubt when it comes to pure talent, feel for the ball and ability to make shots that look impossible, he is one of the best players of his generation. Unfortunately it's always been paired with a disgustingly bad attitude and a level of petulance that would make a toddler feel embarrassed.

    • @willcurtis7066
      @willcurtis7066 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      To be fair the initial dropshot instead of a smash is exactly what I saw Alcaraz do today

      @zeejimi4044 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yep 👍 Nick thinks he is too just good for this world, and much too good for tennis. With the correct attitude to the game, an understanding of the word sportsmanship, and respect for his fellow human beings, he could have achieved much more than he has, but unfortunately he is just an arrogant and ignorant hot-head..🤮🤮🤮

    • @mackemforever
      @mackemforever 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      @@willcurtis7066 I'm not saying the drop shot was a bad shot, the execution wasn't great but the shot choice was fine. It was just the smash that was pathetic.

  • @NamesAreRandom
    @NamesAreRandom 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +26

    Kyrgios has the shots but no mobility or sharpness - not able to chase the ball around the court like Fearnley and even if he can get to it he's not got time to wind up and unload. Also made it easy by just blocking all the returns back giving Fearnley a chance to smack the follow up shot away for winners. Kyrgios should stick to doubles.

    • @jansobieski3127
      @jansobieski3127 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      Not even that, 2 first set he didn't even have 1 break point, against Fearnley a guy that's not a big server. Kyrgios is done, so yeah maybe he should stick to doubles, but can he play with someone else ? I m not so sure.
