Hi Leon, thank you for the helpful videos. I had a quick question. Is there a way to differentiate a guest user vs. a logged in user on GA4/ Looker studio? I want to identify the demographics for guest users only.
Hey Leeza, yes there are a couple of different options. At the top of my mind I'm thinking about two:
- If you have User ID implemented you can make a comparison with the dimension 'Signed in with User ID' does not exactly match 'yes'
- If you don't have that you can build an exploration report with demographics and then exclude all logged in users by making a segment. Don't know your site of course but usually you can exclude them based on some account page that only logged in visitors see.
