Yeah, the sea player should have switched to land units about 15 minutes prior to the end of the game and they would have won. Still no reason to kick ban though.
@@TheChrisNeuendorf True. On this map, sea seems to be kind of a trap. Player win it, and don't get out of the sea. But i agree that blue guy was fairly toxic. For me sending 3 resigns in a row is already toxic and kick bann people for playing the game is just stupid. He also claimed to being able to win the sea where red stood back. There wasn't really a chance at any point.
kicking SK10 because they lost their bases was super toxic. I've seen some pretty crazy comebacks and he still had a decent army and map control to move onto the land where the red team had been defeated. Should have asked for constructors or units to micro instead.
Man seeing the blue player kick his top sea laner was tough to watch, especially with the claim that SK10 "didn't know how to win back sea" . Production of T2 navy 40 minutes into the match be damned I believed in him!!
It's a bit sad to see really. But it didn't start of great when they (blue) also missed that their weakest player was matched against red (top player) in the south sea and acted like that wouldn't be an automatic foregone conclusion. And I spoke to soon. Lol at then flaming others for not helping with south sea after ignoring it for so long themselves.
Darkfury (Blue player) kickbanning his teammate for being better is so mad. Blue was complaining about the red player destroying him from sea but his teammate light blue was also destroying the enemy team from the sea BUT light blue was the trash player? Hm...
@@spencerterry8712 Sure, that is part of it. But the root cause for red being dominant was blue ignoring the matchup until it became "his immediate problem". So it's kind of weird that they then make a fuss about others not helping THEM from that point on.

I agree. I played a match and won because I had a fabulous backliner support with air then eventually more sea forces. It was complicated but absolutely won us the game
@@BrightWorksTV if you watch the pro-isthmus lobbies where the average OS is 40+ I think they're translating the plays over from Isthmus meta. To me it looks like the game is being won by the central mexes. They're definitely proritsting the lanes differently to other lobbies :)
1) you actually have to separate Afus by a huge amount to make them completely safe from each other. 2) There's also the huge cost in build power of Afus. The most efficient source of build power is the turrets but they can't move, so your afus will be fairly close anyway. The alternative of tons of butlers or air cons would be much more expensive, and moving the turrets very time consuming.
@@chronographer Interesting, I tend to build the AFUs away from the rest of my economy, and take the hit on having to use constructors. Definitely not optimal for maintaining aggression but reduces the odds of catastrophic raids. Will try it the turret way next game anyhow. :)
@@wewliusevola ah that's fair. Obviously the cost of build power is the same for the first one, so it doesn't matter where it is. I was talking about how close each afus is to each other. They have to be fairly close to share the build power. Yeah just an efficiency thing maybe next time I'll try with Bots. Obviously you want to separate your Converters from the fusions, but the Conveters explosion is much smaller. The most people set it up such that if they lose the Converters it won't take out the afus. But if you lose the afus it probably doesn't matter either way. There is one advantage to separating them or building just fusions in that the wreckagea are more likely to survive and therefore be resurrectedble.
Watching purple suicide his air 1 plane at a time into flak the entire game. For shame. Even worse not once did any1 try to coach him. Also teal never figured out that boats can't go on land.
Bright doesn’t pre-watch. I wouldn’t want him to waste the time to record this and then scrap it because Blue was toxic. Plus, red put on a clinic in south sea.
This is a great question and in fact NOT giving a platform to toxicity is why I turned of spectator chat. On the other hand what the other fellow said is exactly right but another point of view is that I'm letting the toxic players tell on themselves in the open which I think definitely helps some of them realize how hurtful they've been
@@BrightWorksTV Lol. Just a game of out many dude mate. @@xaviermanning6951 Brightworks didn't target him, doesn't pre-watch the matches, and didn't even actively callout or mention DarkFury's attitude in any way. If a totally random cast happens to make someone look bad, that's on them, not Bright. Also that's not how this works. This isn't a "both sides of the coin" situation. If you act like this just ONCE out of a thousand games, the moderation penalty is still the same. And avoiding doing so is trivial for any half decent person who can control their temper and ego. You don't get to say, "well I'm not -always- an asshole who abuses kickban against the rules".
Who are these armchair commentators. Nice misinformation when all he wanted to do is to resign as a team when the game was LOST and move on to the next game. To be clear criticism of SK10 is valid if you won the sea and need to apply pressure on land. Red wiped the team from sea and game was over. Interesting that Brightworks wanted to showcase this instead of other games. ^^ Though Darkfury might have been too hard on the noob sea player. Criticism is fair, but considering the effort to win back the sea from such a bad position, it was a thankless task.
SK10 could certainly have done better in terms of transitioning out from their sea victory into an effective land assault, with Red being the perfect example, but every player in every match could always do something better. This wasn't a 50+OS pro game, this was a mostly sub 20 casual game. This is the specific skill range where literally all players are still in the learning phase of the game, and imperfect play is the expectation. Darkfury could have done a lot different himself too, but that wouldn't give a higher rank player the right to chew him out and flame him either. Imperfect play is not a crime, but toxicity and improper weaponisation of kickban is. He wanted to team resign, and it was denied. That's the point he solo resigns. What he did with using Kickban against SK10, is a reportable offence, and he's seemingly been warned for abusing it before, so he should already know better. If he keeps it up in future, he risks being chatbanned and/or suspended from the game entirely.
This match made me submit my first ever report. Kickbanning his teammate made me so furious.
