Thanks for the great videos Cheesey :) I love how so far it looks like there are so many different kinds of fun builds you can play that do a competitive damage. You can have a more intricate build like this or a more fun "spammy" type build like the last video you made! Can't wait for TWW!
Well in terms of a ratio something like 35/25/25/15 (Mast/Crit/Haste/Vers) for a standard build, a little extra Haste with these DOT builds. All largely feelycraft at the moment though. Trinkets I was just using generic stat trinkets or sometimes the 2m on-use. Haven't really looked at trinkets much tbh so can't comment on them.
Do you happen to know a good resource to learn feral opener and general rotation on live season 4 atm? I can't really find too many updated videos on that subject.
One good thing you can do is to go look at top Ferals on logs, go into their 'casts' and change to 'timeline' so you can visually see their sequence of casts. For a detailed written guide use the compendium pinned in Discord. Or a simple version method/wowhead etc. There's no good videos afaik.
In your testing so far, do any of the new dungeons have points that cause swarms to fall off? For example in ruby life pools taking the dragon up after first boss, or in Azure vault taking the book down to last boss, etc. I love swarm builds, but that is always a big frustration for me.
There's some dungeons with flight paths but they didn't actually despawn on any for me, so I'm not sure if they've fixed it or changed how flight paths work or what. But so far so good, and if there are any, of course very easy to just play different talents on a specific dungeon.
@@cheesey7395 I REALLY hope it's fixed. Buffs falling off, focus target getting cleared, any kind of taxi system in dungeons has pissed me off too many times to count.
Watching this seems like there are very little energy issues, I guess I must be doing something wrong or haste is a lot more valuable now since im at ~12% on pre patch. But I feel like im constantly out of energy not sure why maybe I'm just trying to press buttons too fast, it feels like every bite I want to do I have to wait for energy maybe its just normal and I still have to adjust, just started playing again since like middle S3 in DF so might be that
These are my weakauras wago.io/H3yjY1gs1 The weakaura directly above my character unit frame is Blood Talon's timer, just off to the side in case I ever need to glance at it. It's also in the pack but should be able to find it seperately on my wago too.
This is just one build option of so many, could play something similar to my last video but with Brutal Slash and Lion's Strength if you wanted something vaguely similar. Will cover more options soon, don't stress thinking that this build is the norm!
@@cheesey7395 ah ok cool cool :) just noticed you wernt waiting till 50 energy so i thought I was doing it wrong lol. But that makes sense. i hate waitng for energy during zerk :(
@@Kronosbattlemaps Yeah just send it in Berserk as soon as you have the combo points. If I ever Bited below 50 outside of zerk could be because mob is about to die or Tiger's Fury about to run out or just simply not paying attention.
A big part of the reason it might feel slow on beta is the fact you're going from S4 DF stats to xpac launch stats, the energy nerfs are a bit overblown in terms of how significant they are.
i also saw no reason to take feral frenzy in a lot of these builds as it just doesnt provide any value anymore without tier set and the cd being so long
You wouldn't take it with Unbridled Swarm because not enough points for it, but for other builds you can take for more single-target. It's still always been a good talent without tier set, but yeah not mandatory and a bit more niche in M+.
Haha, well always good to have builds that appeal to different players, there are much simpler builds of course. Strategic Infusion by the way you don't need to track, I just show the buff to demonstrate, it basically just boils down to press Shred/BrS on opener and press buttons immediately after Tiger's Fury.
This is not a standard build mate it's an optional enthusiast build. Ret has 1/10th of the build options of Feral, it really depends if you prefer playing a spec that has options (including easier to play builds) for variety, or specs that have less talent options (like ret).
There's a disclaimer in the description that this is an advanced optional build, if you look at my previous video the build is the polar opposite. Some of the TF stuff I could have explained better because I probably over-explained things that generally boil down to simple rules like don't refresh Rip when it has almost full duration left, don't Moonfire on pull etc, and I will eventually do a video breaking down some of these basic rules. But I try to explain things in detail for those interested as this is obviously a high-end pov channel and this is a build for enthusiasts.
one of the best feral content creators out here, love your stuff man
Always nice with some beekeeping love, looking forward to the next build vids too!

Thanks mate :) and yeah, so many different builds! Will try upload more soon
Good stuff mate. Seems like DMG is competitive on single target at least. Sincerely hoping feral is good. Really enjoying it on live currently
Top Notch. Love the gameplay commentary. Thank you!
Great video. Thanks
love it!
I knew it was cooking when I saw thrashing claws
HELL YEAH
hey what stats are you prioritizing for your build/the standard talents? and what trinkets are you running/that you think are good. nice video!

Hows ST looking like? Raid builds, are we going for L/R or will Incarn/Convoke be the play?
Possibly Convoke as DOTC and L/R as Wildstalker, or possibly Convoke as both. Bit hard to say at the minute but a lot of options seem good.
@@cheesey7395 Thanks! Looking forward to TWW!

Yeah the spec has been slowed down a bit, I'm not really playing prepatch so not 100% sure on stats but 12% does seem very low as well.
what addon is above your character unit frame to track your debuffs timers

Mmmm Adaptive Swarm makes this spec so appealing. I hope DoT gameplay remains strong, particularly Rip.
Dots are definitely looking stronger than Dragonflight already! :)
I miss the smooth-brain build from Antorus, I wanna play my smoothbrain sparklekitty again lol.

is it bad to wait for 50 energy now for biting?
No, in what context though? Probably still worth to use at any energy in Berserk.

Looks fun, I just don't get why Blizz keep gutting feral's energy regen. The spec already feels slow as is :/

The other ferals hate on bees so much, they just can’t see the vision. Trust the process this build is so damn rewarding.
Haha there's plenty of bee lovers :) but good that Feral has so many build options, but yea nothing comes close to bees for fun.

Sheesh this is ridiculously complicated. No insult to you, just the design!! Meanwhile Ret does the same DPS for 1/6th the work

I swear people really love to overthink feral.
Doing your best to make feral look overly complicated for low returns.
