Just drill a small vent hole on the lower edge of the bottle ( don't drill all the way through ! ) and it will retain most insulation value and you will be able to boil water with it.
Good stuff! I like the burner phone. Batteries in a metal container? Might wanna wrap some electrical tape over the ends of them to prevent discharge or fire. You definitely have lots of stuff in there.
