Those are pretty. I make jewelry and use the jump rings that you used to connect the chain if you will use the round nose pliers and pull the jump rings open to the side they will go back together easier. Those are eye pins you were calling needles and the clasp is called a lobster claw. I always check my lobster claws sometimes they do not always work properly. I have got a lot of embroidery thread , I think I will make some of those tassels. Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed day.

The rings you are using to attach the chain and beads are called jump rings. May I give some advice? I'm a jewelry maker. The correct way to open and close jump rings is to hold each side with pliers like you are doing. Twist one side up and at the same time, twist the other side down. Reverse to close it. This makes a much stronger closure and you are less likely to have it open up.

The nails make it harder to accomplish. Darling tassels but so much easier to make jewelry without the long nails
