Yes I will be doing the Ball joint when the weather gets warmer but for now it will be okay But I will be doing the ball joint When the weather gets warmer take care
Joe, your lower control arms should have steering limiters/steering stops on to stop the wheel turning too much and rubbing the inside of your wheel arch. They attach to those two bolt holes on the front of the control arms. That’s why your tyre has rubbed a hole inside your arch liner and rubbed the metal underneath.
Well I put a new steering stop on the Control arm I bought that control arm second hand but that control arm came off a car with different tyres sizes so I removed the steering stop before I fitted the control arm I was aware of the missing steering stop but it's got a steering stop now Take care
Well if I leave the caliper on I can't get the bar in to lever the wishbone down I tried doing it with the caliper on but I found it easier with the caliper off but thanks for your answer and take care
Joe, aren't those tires a bit on the bald side (of things)? l have Continentals on my Volvo v70 (P235/45R17) that have a more beefy tread that can take Canadian winters and yet drive well for summer and wet weather usage. The Continentals have deep tread pattern that extend slightly over the pavement contact area, to give it a satisfying appearance and appropriate aspect ratio in the wheel well while viewing from the side profile.
The tyres are not bald the tyre is only slightly over half worn I put those tyres on the car when it had 236,000 miles and it's now got 254,800 miles but I think the front tyres will do another 8,000 before it needs replacing but the rear Tyres are not even half worn the tyre brand is Good Year Efficient Grip And i got those tyres from Costco they were on offer I got 4 tyres for the price of 2 But the tyre is not bald and I wouldn't run with Bald tyres Take care

@@JoeSibCarsI just watched the video through and the wishbone has the stopper on it later in the video! 👍🏻😁
Leave the caliper on, weight helps keep the arm down.
